TIME's connection is great! But not so much with their customer service. I came back from vacation last Tuesday to find out that my modem's LOS light is blinking red. Immediately called CS and was told that someone from their technical team would contact me in 24 hours. It's been 48 hours with no call at all.  sad.gif
*
Hi, have they contacted you ? If not, pm me the report number to follow up.

Thanks.

As mentioned, I can't even see my connected via LAN PCs to enable IP Reservation.

Do you know why the UI/firmware for version B is so limited?
*
Hi Bro,

You gotta click the "Connected Clients" icon located on the "Home" page... then scroll to the bottom you can see... Connected Clients...

Ours here working fine. Please try again.

Firmware for HWB, is meant for easier management coz previously feeedback for DLink Routers configurations were very not user-friendly & complicated, for dummy users.

Thanks.

How much is the penalty that I needed to pay if I terminate my Time within 1 year when I have 2 years contract?
*
Standard RM500 for TIME Fibre Home Broadband.

Remaining Months charges for TIME Fibre Business Internet.

Thanks.

I will like to confirm with you on your context, you meant that for Time Fibre Home Broadband, the standard fee is RM 500 and nothing else right?
*
Yes RM500, for premature contract termination.

You need to clear your previous oustanding bill as well, if any.

Hi JJJ2,

I am currently tied under Astro broadband TIME package for the next 8 months, and quite frankly its ridiculous paying for such a hefty amount and i dont even watch astro. (Paying RM400+ a month) Astro channel + 30mbps line.

Is there any chance of eligibility for this switch over plan?
*
Hi Bro,

I'm sorry as this switch over plan is currently only applicable for switching from other fixed line provider & not astro iptv.

Thanks.

Can a condominium unit has up to 2 different Tkme home fibre lines?
*
Hi,

What do you mean by 2 different Time home fibre lines ?

You can subscribe as many lines as possible (concurrently running), if your building is not fibre prelay type.

Thanks.

Got no idea what is fibre pre lay time. When you mentioned concurrently running , you meant that if that house already got time fire home internet, I can still request my current fibre home internet to be swift to that unit right?
*
Yes you can...provided there is no limitation on the cabling that can be pulled in to your unit.

Thanks.

Has there been any service interruption for the past few days? Particularly in Malacca.
The connection quality has been bad off and on.
*
Not that we are aware of. Can you please provide your test results (with cable) ?

Can someone enlighten me is Time sharing SAME fibre optic cable as Unifi or Time contractor need pull new cable ??

I just saw today, outside my condo got Time team promoting this service.

When I called their helpdesk earlier they told me just plug n play  with existing Unifi fibre cable... contractor just need to go MDF room switch the port...

When I asked again they said need pull new cable at my floor to my unit ????
*
Hi Bro,

Please check with your building management to see whether your building is prelaid with fibre infra.

If yes, there's no need to repull in new fibre cable into your unit.

Call me if you don't really understand.

Thanks.

Currently my Unifi is direct fibre out from wall does it mean already prelaid ?

How to call u.. u work in Time ?
*
Hi..

You sure that is fibre wall socket & not phone jack ya (you can snap a photo & pm me) ? If that is the case, then it's prelaid & there is no need to pull cable again.

Thanks.

The funny part is that they sent a technician to check only but not repair the damaged exernal cable. Another technician will come for the repair which TIME has yet to confirm when. And until that is sorted, i'm could be out of internet for days! this is so frustating.
*
Normally our team will go check & rectify immediately, no 2nd trip, I'm not sure why it's so.

One thing possible mayb they need to repull the cable.

Thanks.
