Never sign any 2 years contract with any Telco. Once you signed, they basically don't care about you dy. Digi customer service very bad.
Example, you signed a 2 years contracts with RM800 saving on your phone. Say your original contracted plan is RM78 for 3GB data and 150min free call. Scenario 1, you have to pay RM120 every month due to insufficent data and free call minutes. Half year later, Digi or any other Telco come out with cheaper plan say, RM70 8GB with unlimited free call. So, basically you are paying RM50 extra for another 18 months which is equivalent to RM900. Scenario 2, you are light user, playing RM78, but another telco came out with RM28 plan with same data. So you are paying additional RM50 as well. That doesn't consider the telco's supp line only RM10 vs Digi supp line RM30. Scenario 3 , you found that you suddenly need additional data, due to streamyx or unifi always down, getting new gf, etc., but you are just stucked there because under contract, you can't upgrade nor downgrade. Of course in some scenarios you may gain saving as well. Competition is stiff, especially more new players down the field. Phone plan will only become cheaper and cheaper. So, think about it before you sign any contract. Before sign, very good, after sign, sorry la! This post has been edited by teikseng: Apr 21 2016, 02:29 PM |
