QUOTE(Zaryl @ Oct 4 2016, 08:36 PM)
i just tried using digi prepaid Live rm28 for my home internet experiment in changlun, kedah.
So far the speed is very good & the data quota allocation is nice (youtube is separated from the main data quota). 6gb (2gb data + 4gb video & music)
i am using a 4G mobile router with simcard slot.

But one thing is, should i continue using prepaid Live or use the Rm105 postpaid broadband in the long run?

I've done some simple comparison:

RM105 broadband = 40GB (20gb anytime + 20gb off peak)
vs
RM68 prepaid Live = 11gb (7gb data anytime + 4GB (2gb video + 2gb music).

which do you think is more suitable?
my house taman still don't have streamyx or unifi so in the meantime, i have to resort by using wireless broadband.  rclxub.gif

Previously, i used celcom RM100 first gold internet. 22gb (6gb anytime, 12gb off peak + 4gb allocated throughout weekends).
i think this sucks because i find myself ran out of data almost every month (i like to surf youtube mostly) and the speed is sometimes fast & sometimes slow.

appreciate your feedbacks.

What gets me is the way they get the new sim card out of what looks like someone's toilet bag on the counter (and your RM10 will be stuffed in that bag too).

- No chart
- Digi Best Prepaid V1 is a very old plan started back in 2009.
- Was it about the recent Digi New Best Prepaid V1 (launched 24 August 2015) ?

Digi Best versions
1. Digi Best V1 -> V2 -> V3 -> V4
2. Digi New Best V1 -> V2
3. Digi Best Prepaid 2016 P2P

1. Digi Best (DB) V1/V2/V3/V4 has minor rates/tariffs differences
2. Major difference was the grace period V1/V2 - 90 days, V3/V4 - 75 days
3. Digi New Best (DNB) V1 has PAYU at 5sen/MB (max RM3) = no basic internet
4. Digi New best (DNB) V2 has monthly 500Mb basic internet = no PAYU
5. Digi BEST Prepaid 2016 P2P (DBP2016) has monthly 500Mb basic internet = no PAYU
6. DNB V1/V2 and DBP2016 have the same tariffs
7. DB V4 & DNB V1 has SLL365 at RM38 (without basic internet)
8. DNB V2 & DB2016 has SLL365 at RM68 (with monthly basic internet)
9. IDDIC is applicable to all Best versions except DBP2016

Do we have an official DiGi rep here?

One of my sublines got barred for hitting its credit limit. Can't check MyDiGi to verify this as the site keeps giving me a blank page (refer to attachment).

The RM28 postpaid plan here comes with 0.5 GB.
https://new.digi.com.my/postpaid-plans

But at this page, the RM28 plan is shown to come with 1GB.
https://new.digi.com.my/internet-rollover

So which is the correct one?

Also, if I wish to convert my prepaid to a postpaid plan, how to avoid having the current credit burnt? Possible to offset?

Thank you

There's two option, more internet or more calls & sms. More internet comes with 1GB internet and 50 min call while more calls & sms comes with 0.5GB internet and unlimited calls to three digi number.

Got it thanks. So the 1GB internet plan is true.

Just to share the answer obtained for my second question, we may transfer the prepaid credit balance to the new Postpaid account. Maximum credit balance up to RM100 can be transferred smile.gif
