Hmmm .....
Today is the day that I found real value for digi 64kbps basic internet. I am able to vnc to a server smoothly after tweaking the configs .....  |

If memory serves me right, Maxis and Celcom secured their 3G license in 2002. DiGi on the other hand lost the bid for 3G concessions license in 2006 to TimeDotCom and MiTV (know Umobile).
DiGi eventually gets TimeDotCom 3G license for roughly rm650million after agreeing to comply with foreign ownership rules (telenor reduced from 61% to 49%). IMHO, things would've been different if TS Vincent Tan did not sell his stake in DiGi back in 1997 ..... |
