For digi broadband, what will happen after we exceed the quota?

Will it get throttled down or stopped fully?

Digi website only mentioned about the RM185 plan.

Thinking of switching over from maxis

At what price point will you stop ignoring it?

For my case, I already lodged report to CFM & SKMM. Lets see what they reply on this.

Pls keep us updated on the progress.

spotify - not an issue for me because we all know spotify premium isn't free and maxis only gives it as promotional basis

but digi charges for facetime / imessage activation isn't cool because it's part and parcel of iphone feature. the very least they can do, is to waive the sms charge for people who bought iphone from them and under contract.

and they need to put this sms charge in their fine print before signup customers for iphone
*
I specifically asked the CR who spoke to me. He said this is apple infrastructure there is nothing they can do about it. Then I asked him digi is selling iphones right? Why don't u guys do something about it? He kept quiet & just laughed it off. When I mentioned about other telcos not charging he kept bringing up the issue of digi has this IDD sms thing activated, when ask to deactivate mine he said it can't be done.

QUOTE(UntilUComeBack @ Sep 29 2016, 02:37 PM)
no choice. i already turn off that imassage function.
kena 1time RM 0.50 , didnt say anything.
this month kena RM 45.00 ,  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

When u turn it facetime off, kinda defies the purpose of using an iphone right?

I want to ask, does Digi New Best 2016 have free social chats? Why does Digi deduct my data when I'm using Whatsapp, Wechat etc?

Dang it, was thinking of reducing monthly broadband commitment. Throttling is only applicable to 185 then?
Using it? Any feedback?

HAHAHAHA

I was a subscriber for the DIGI mobile broadband 185. originally comes with 30/70gb on/off peak quota.

when i first noticed that they had upgraded the on peak quota to 40gb on their website, I called the Digi Helpline number and asked nicely if I am to receive the additional quota as well. But they told me that I need to TERMINATE my line and RESUBSCRIBE for the plan because the offer is only for NEW subscriber.

I was quite angry because they pulled off the Maxis move of giving new customers better offer, so I terminated my line which costs me almost RM300, but I did not resubscribe back.

N now some existing 185 plan subscribers r telling me that they actually do get extra 10gb bump for the on peak quota.

Fuck me right?
*
Yes, was pleasantly surprised that Digi gave existing subscribers that 10GB on peak quota bump.

IIRC, other plans aside from Broadband 185, the line cannot be used at all once exceed quota. Need to buy topup quota.

If you dont have any active internet package, will deduce your free Social quota while if you purchase monthly package your free Social quota will remain intact if you use Wechat or Whatsapp because the monthy plan come with Unlimited Social quota (Normal Speed).
