Just noticed earlier tonight that the Ramadhan Internet Promo (3GB per month + unlimited 1am-7am quota + music freedom for RM35/month) that I'm subscribed to on my Digi prepaid number had it's quota for 1am-7am slashed to a paltry 3GB. Previously it was something like 10GB and before that when I first subscribed to the promo it was something like 15GB (not really unlimited la). But still, rather surprised and of course frustrated to see the off peak quota slashed suddenly like that. They even still call it 1am-7am UNLIMITED...talk about misinformation sad.gif

Sometimes Digi gives the impression it really hates its prepaid customers and wishes they'd all go away.
*
Haha, yeah...I definitely can see that now.

Thing is, they're still touting UNLIMITED 1am-7am on their prepaid plan promotional webpage. See attached screenshot. And in the 'Notes' section at the bottom of the page, it says that "fair usage policy of 10GB is applicable for the unlimited off peak quota for monthly RM35 plan". See http://new.digi.com.my/promotion/ramadhan-iuistimewa

WTF?

They should advertise it truthfully, tell people there's a cap for unlimited quote placed at 2-3GB only.

What la Digi...and to think I've just ported my main postpaid line from Celcom First Basic 38 to Digi 80 just last week sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Oh, and today I checked the Digi 80 postpaid plan which was previously valid just till 31/7/16, has now been extended to 31/8/16 on their postpaid plan webpage. Haha...guess they don't know how to come up with a better postpaid plan then.

One of my Smart Plan indicated 10GB for 1am - 7 pm quota and another one is 2 GB. Both lines has 10GB as at 31.7.2016.

Getting very confuse now.
*
Hmmm...I'm getting confused as well. Because just now I checked myDigi website it says that my 1am-7am quota for my prepaid plan is back at 10GB. I could've sworn it showed just 3GB yesterday. Digi must've had a serious glitch in their system...

Aaannd...turns out when I check my quota using myDigi app, it still shows 2.8GB only for Unlimited 1am-7am.

WTF is going on Digi?

I've posted my enquiry on this matter on their Facebook page. They have yet to reply.

Just noticed that Digi Postpaid 80 has been extended until end of August 2016.
*
Yes. Like I mentioned in post #1601 above, they extended it by 1 month. Haha, and there I was rushing to get my number ported from Celcom to Digi before the previous 31st July deadline bangwall.gif . August is here now and it looks like Digi hasn't been able to come up with a better plan.

Is anyone aware of this DiGi Postpaid 70 with unlimited calls + 12GB data (9GB all-day data + 3GB weekend data) ? It is applicable for new port-in only and it comes with a 12-month contract.
*
Wow.how to get more info on this plan? I ported in about a week plus ago and the digi guys at the digi store didn't tell me about this plan. So I went for the rm80 plan.

I'm on the RM80 plan. Just found out that after I enable sharing, the 2GB rollover is no more applicable. Anyone else got this?
*
Yes, that is correct. I think it's stated in their T&C/notes/faq on their webpage.

Anyone try out new DiGi RM1 300MB daily data plan? Can use in other apps beside Pokemon Go?
*
I tried their RM3 Pokemon go one-time internet pass, 500MB 3 days IIRC. Can use for other stuff besides Pokemon Go.

There was a way to get such packages. I am using SP80 with 16GB.
*
How, may I know? And SP80..is that the current Digi Postpaid 80 plan or another one?

QUOTE(V3000 @ Aug 16 2016, 07:27 AM)
Yup only for portin customers. RM70 u get more benefits then those who pay RM80.
biggrin.gif
*
Whoa...how come the last 2 weeks when I ported in to Digi from Celcom the Digi Store people didn't tell me about this plan at all?! They just said that I'm eligible to get RM10 rebate for 12 months bcuz I'm a port in customer, so essentially for a year I have to pay RM70 for 7GB + 3GB weekends + unlimited calls.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Aug 16 2016, 10:18 AM)
Try to go digi store express (DSE) to have rm70 9 + 3GB weekend + unlimited calls or rm80 13 + 3GB weekend + unlimited calls...

Dun go digi store.
*
Hmm..so is this only offered at Digi Store Express only & not at Digi Store? sad.gif

Wondering if now I can change plan from my Digi 80 (7+3GB weekends) to this awesome plan...? Anyone knows?

Few months ago, Digi pulled a Maxis. They started offering random people this package. Smartplan 80 with an additional 6GB. Refer to picture below.

[attachmentid=7337593]

Then, many people started knowing about this. Lucky Digi thought of that. They had a website for people to register their interest. Then, they called those who were not offered the package earlier on a chance to get it.

Here is my speculation, they did this to shut people's mouth up and to please them, otherwise it will become the sh*t storm Maxis had.
*
I see. Unfortunately for me Digi wasn't even on my radar when they pulled this 'Maxis' sad.gif

But apparently from what some earlier posts are saying, they are currently offering more-or-less the same plan at Digi Store Express (see post #1761). Still waiting for them to reply & confirm.

The 12GB and 16GB plan actually tied to 12 months contract.

I see. If there's a contract then it definitely lessens the appeal.

Can anyone confirm this?

Perhaps it is only for those port in customers? Because those that got the call from Digi did not have contracts including me.
*
Hmm, ok...hoping someone on the 12GB contract will chime in to confirm if got contract or not.

BTW, I have been unable to sign in using my CONNECT account in the MyDigi app. It keeps saying server/connection error. But if login using the phone number only then it's ok, just that the MyDigi app will only show details for that number only and not all the other numbers under your account. Same on their website also. This has been going on for 2 weeks I think. Does anyone else have the problem?

The recent offer (RM70 for unlimited calls + 12GB data*) can only be signed up by new port-in customers. It does come with a 12-month contract. After 12-month the monthly commitment fee will be revised back to the original price which is RM80/month. Should you choose to downgrade or upgrade or cancel your service or port-out to another telco during the first 12-month period, you will loss the monthly rebate and all previously given rebates will be billed to you.

While the price of this plan will revised to RM80/month after 12-month, the plan features won't. It will still give you unlimited calls + 12GB data as long as you do not change your plan.

Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, under the latest Best plan you can buy Super Long Life (SLL) for RM68 which gives 365 days validity, and with that can subscribe whatever internet option you want.

You need a minimum credit balance of RM69 to buy SLL.

This plan also comes with 500mb free slow data each month which may be enough to keep WhatsApp ticking.
*
Is the SLL valid for Digi New Best v2 prepaid plan?

Hmmm, I'm currently subscribing to their Broadband 185 plan. 30+70GB. But now I see they up the peak quota from 30GB to 40GB. Will I, as an existing subscriber, be given 40GB peak quota as well? Or is this just for new sign ups?
