Called TM yesterday and told them to upgrade to 100Mb but they said its gonna take 7 working days. I told them to go fly kites. I gave them my terms which is upgrade within 3 days or keep my current package and I will be jumping ship. Activation can actually be done in 24 hrs actually, but these lazy asses are taking 7 days to shake their balls? So, they either value their loyal customer or lose them.

She then reached her boss and everything. Then she read the TnC which includes the line that the upgrade will take 7 working days and she asked whether I agreed? I said I agree if my terms is met.

So let's see how it goes.

No such thing as need to terminate then need to re-apply. It's just a plan upgrade.

Wrong person to ask. You should be asking the sales person, not the technician.

Just received call from TM. I was told that the RM 299 for Unifi Pro is valid for 24 months only. After the 24-month contract has ended, the price will go back to RM 329.

Checkout the RT-AC55UHP... You'll get Dual-band wireless-AC1200... Price's around your budget.
*
Thanks for the suggestion ==> RT-AC55UHP , but it is slightly above our budget RM500, my bother will not agree with it. sweat.gif
I shall try to persuade him to get this Wifi router, else I have to stick with RT-N18U or RT-N14UHP.

QUOTE(dragna @ Apr 4 2016, 06:41 PM)
Or you could get a WiFi range extender which is a cheaper option.
*
Are you refer to get a repeater, something like this in Asus official website?
My family prefer to get a better wifi router rather than repeater

hi guys would anyone know when can we apply for unifi once they fixed them fiber boxes on the phone poles?

cuz i see that in my area they completed fixing the boxes already  not sure when can go apply lol tongue.gif

For my case, it took two months for me to get Unifi after TM setup fiber box near my house. doh.gif
I rang TM for Unifi package just after the fiber box was ready, but they unable to find my home address in their system, I was told be patient and wait for good news. sweat.gif

Try follow-up with TM and ask them directly. smile.gif

No wonder keep getting issue, they haven't fixed it. It took so long to import the cable in. TM probably used the slow shipping service for importing the cable to cut cost I believe. I sell online to oversea and know about shipping.

TM is fu..king hopeless.
