QUOTE(budak minyak @ Apr 5 2016, 02:03 PM) Hi guys...currently im using 50mbps unifi at home...is it worth it to change to TIME? Because now got promo that we can get rebate of rm500 from Time if we change from unifi to Time. Anybody have tried? 1. You can only migrate to TIME if TIME Fibre is available in your area. TIME fibre coverage is very limited. Check here http://www.time.com.my/support/internet-coverage-check2. TIME no longer offer the RM500 penalty payment for people who move to them. That was a promotion offered before their new plans is launched

QUOTE(lkcheng @ Apr 5 2016, 01:37 PM) Yes TM is dishonest. They have this slow websites (not local website) browsing issues quit often. I think I have made more than 10 reports to TM already in two years time. They always try to blame is in my fault. The last time I reported to tM, I recorded down some slow website browsing issues in my phone to show the technicians. Funny enough they still try to say it is my fault. They said I opened few browsers at the same time to visit websites caused the slow. So I enlarged my phone screen to show them I was just using one browse to visit one website at a time. Then they also use my unifi to visit some websites as a test to see any slow issues. In 5 minutes already found some regular sites slow. It's not a fault on my side, so they just keep quiet and do some settings on my equipment and left. But they never solve this problem permanently. Anyway YES 4G has a more steady performance than TM unifi. TM CS hopeless wan la...Time even better la..they will ask u traceroute and so on.. Yes 4G i never sure so i not sure

QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Apr 5 2016, 12:34 PM) have to see weather, sea condition and so on..and is TM wat u gonna do? bear with it..i already get used to it you wanna bear alone, bear alone. other customers have rights to voice out their dissatisfaction when they don't get the service as promised by TM, furthermore, a paid service, that is.

QUOTE(vivre @ Apr 5 2016, 01:47 PM) Apparently, you cant SIMPLY move from BIZ to HOME. Once they locked the IC to BIZ, you can no longer subscribe the HOME package. You can't move your subscription from Biz To Home. True. No longer able to subscribe to HOME plan any longer once you had previously subscribed to Biz plan? False. What they did for me is for me to subscribe a new HOME plan. Once it's active, I will proceed to cancel my biz plan. HOME UNIFI PRO 100 plan scheduled to be installed on 7 April.

So you mean, you need to terminate Biz plan then you can subscribe to Home plan? So basically they won't let you upgrade/downgrade from biz to home?

QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Apr 5 2016, 12:15 PM) u duno how the fixing undersea cable work? Submarine cable fault, I do understand the difficulties in getting it fixed, the rough weather & sea conditions, etc. What I cannot accept is they take too long to fix internal/underground/overhead cable faults - these could have been fixed within 1 or 2 days, but their over-reliance on external contractors could mean downtime of between 1 to 2 weeks. Yes you are right. Weird isn't it? What they said was biz plan was assigned a different product code. They can't change an existing product to another product code. I thought it was a rather obtuse but didn't want to create unnecessary trouble. So I just went ahead and get a new home plan. I will terminate my biz plan a day later after my home plan is up. The lady at the counter was nice enough to provide me with a cancellation form first beforehand. This post has been edited by Orpheus1120: Apr 5 2016, 03:39 PM
