still early to tell the stability..but how to combine the 2.4 and 5 GHz SSID into 1 ssid..just name the SSID the same for both config?

anything that emit radiation will have a long term effect and we can barely notice in short term..just take precaution to minimize the effect...phones is the major contributor of the radiation and please put it away from your head while you asleep

Speed is good here. Asus RT-AC55UHP over wifi.

Why is your ping higher than 7? Are you using fiber or VDSL, or you have some tasks behind? I don't accept such speed. I complain my ISP everytime, so that I get more than what I subscribed for, like for VIP 5, I will complain the TM untill I get the result of 5.1mbps or more than that.

Alright.. Here's the thing though, your Internet download speed is limited to 30Mbps (Advance30 Plan), the router recommendations made earlier are all more than capable of supplying such. So depending on how large your home is and or possible network interferences... You should be good with just one router, else buy another or use the stock TM router to augment your home network..

Lastly as this has derailed the thread long enough.. We are back to my prior response, purchase either one of the recommended routers or up your budget and purchase the most expensive one you can... As performance and price generally increase together.. It's a pretty simple decision.

Hi there, based on what we are talking here is that you want a good router which can perform well and have a good wifi coverage. Again, what I want to say is that you don't have to buy a router which is too good as you are using it for home usage only. If all of your family members stream videos every time, then only you need a good router. If not a normal router with high power wifi will do what a normal big house need. With gigabit wifi, it won't change any thing and a big house isn't fit to use 5GHz wifi. Your PLAN is 30Mbps only, which means that all of the users will share the speed of 30mbps. For an example, there are 5 devices. Then this five device will share the speed of 30mbps. 30mbps/5users

I'm still on the VIP10 plan and using stock TM router.. Which is the D-Link DIR-615.

How to set printer sharing on TRG212M? On 192.168.0.1 has detected my normal printer make,model etc connected to the router using the USB port. Now the question is,how do I start using it?

Why didn't change to 30Mbps. Unifi technician claims that D-link DIR-615 is the best router for Unifi.

There only a few months left on the customary 2 year contract and I'm waiting that out. Could have upgraded but I require all newer equipment, particularly the new Hypptv box,.. As I've been using the current equipment for a couple of years now.. but TM refused to include that in the package. So I'm waiting to terminate and reapply. TIME has also expressed interest in the area, so hopefully they come in soon and I can equally terminate & switch upon contract completion... Yes, it sucks to be paying more than most Advance30 plan subscribers for just one-third of their speed... Principles..

IMO, though it can be rock-stable for weeks at a time, the D-Link DIR-615 is not the best stock router as it has its issues. For example, it occasionally gets overwhelmed during torrenting and refuses to serve any connected devices or allow new connections.. A forced reboot (unplug & plug) resolves this... This wouldn't bother me so much, except that it randomly occurs and incurs more time spent downloading certain large files that I leave running say overnight. Besides this, it's an "okay" router and I see no need yet replacing it till I've upgraded to much higher speeds.

Erm... There is a newer version of D-Link Cloud router which is given byTM. From performance and hardware, it is better than DIR-615.
UPDATE:IT IS D-LINK DIR-850L CLOUD ROUTER.

Mine most of the mine over 30mbps. Using wifi with dir850l here.

And those are the highest speed I can get.

same here +2 iptv which my parent watch alot. previously the silver colour router cant even handle all the devices resulting in wifi keep on dropping. After changed to this new router, no more such issue.
