Anyone using Archer C7? Cannot achieve 100Mbps Unifi even after reset and setup back..

Can I simply walk into tm requesting to change the old router to the new although nothing wrong with it? What is the best workable and acceptable excuse to use?

Anyone else got the D-Link dual band router, the router is really up to the task compared to the other modem they gave. Wireless seems to be capped at 50/50 down/up though, no problem if local transfer. Very stable so far, but oversimplified menus they have. No QoS either.

Yes it looks exactly like this, running on D-Link owns firmware but comes with unifi preconfigured. So no difference from what are you seeing there.

My house is 2 storey terraced house  only.

The above recommendation is Overkill, yea i dun mind getting that but only 3 people are using the broadband.

Any other recommendation?

My Dlink DIR850L from TM sometimes "Internet Disconnected" but hyppTV and internet browsing are running normally when this error comes out... refresh the same page "http://192.168.0.1/Home.html" and it will show " Internet Connected", after sometimes same error will come back... any idea?

I c.... weird problem... ya the internet and hypptv is working fine, but now the Internet connection LED also turned orange, previously is green..

5GHz is weaker. Because the more bigger the GHz, the more weaker the signal would be. Lower frequencies tend to give wider signals compared to higher frequencies.

ok..so i having high ping*Red* while playing online games..
on streamyx..low ping*Green*
any idea how to fix it?or because of that stock router problem.

Just curious, how's would the contractor be installing the unifi in an apartment or condo?

i) Do they need to lay the fibre from somewhere?
ii) Do they need to hack or drill the wall?
iii) Roughly how long does it take for them to install everything?

Hi, yes, done ping results also (forgot to mention) it can't ping for that few second and then resume back to normal, issue happened intermittent, that the most headache part of the whole story

I dot think the redial will be so fast (it just lost the connection less than 10 seconds) i m pretty sure that the DSL light is there when the intermittent issue happened. Just afraid that is hardware issue, or can i call TM to do anything? i cant think of how to simplify above question into a simple request to TM CS (they surely cant digest on the whole issue) to see if the problem resolved?

Mine is not router issue or anything. Sigh. Looks like 28Mbps will not be good enough to make a complaint.

Mine most of the mine over 30mbps. Using wifi with dir850l here.  

And those are the highest speed I can get.
