hi guys
any recommended shop for recoil and cotton change in Lestari Perdana / Puncak Jalil / Equine Park area? i went to this one shop in Puncak Jalil (forgot the name already) for recoil, just after one day i am inhaling burnt vapor unlike this one shop above "Nasi Kak Wok" in Cyberjaya, when they recoil my mod, even after 2 weeks not changing coil, the original flavor is still preserved i don't want to go far until cyberjaya just to find good recoilers |

Yeah man, what stopping you from learning to recoil your stuff yourself, this is a sincere question, not trying to be a dick or what.
It'll be trial and error for sure but for what it's worth, you'll not be dependent to any shop to get your stuff recoil & rewick. Just imagine in the long run, if that particular shop is not in business anymore? What is your atomizer anyway if I may ask? Probably you can start by watching some tutorial, there are plenty of those on YouTube. That's the best way to learn, and once you learn to do that yourself you'll be set. "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" Hope you get your things sorted out soon! QUOTE(fix24311 @ Jun 28 2016, 09:09 PM) hi guys Bro trust me. Recoiling your self is less effort to go to the shop and ask people do it for you. Regarding inhaling burnt taste it should be winking problem. QUOTE(fix24311 @ Jun 28 2016, 09:45 PM) Wicking is the cotton part, the one that bring juice to your coil to heat up. Go youtube how to properly wick your tank then you are good to go. But you have never done this I'm sure you don't have organic cotton at the moment. Any questions I'm sure we can guide you |

Anyways, bought Gemini from John vapor. One of the post always burn and didn't heat up the coil properly. Grub screw is always burnt in that post and result one coil heat up instead of two coils together. Not sure if you guys encounter this. No matter how many times I change the coil and the grub screw same spot being burnt.
Billow v3 is in the mail I hope it doesn't have issues like this. |

Not coil. Agreed. Once you learn to coil/wick yourself, you can also experiment with even more things to suit your personal taste. Type of coil, coil position, coil material, cotton... just for starters.Go to YouTube and learn how to recoil your self. once you know how everything will be done in 5 minutes. It's gonna be hard to start from square one though, as you *will* fail a lot in the beginning. After the first initial tries it should be pretty easy moving forward once you get a good handle on the basics. Getting a Coil Jig/Coilmaster does help tremendously as well. Anyway, had enough of the drain-y, finicky twisted SS build I just put into the 'Cado... as it was too low res for TC to work consistently. Plus it got the 'Cado unreasonably hot in use. So? Threw it out and moving on to something more conventional now: ![]() SS316L 26awg spaced coils. Not as fragile and springy as I initially thought it would be, very easily wicked (being 3mm), and currently working well on TC too - accurate and consistent so far. Let's see if it performs *as* well through the week. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jun 29 2016, 10:24 AM |
