I bought my last night, the black one.

There's no silicone seal beneath the top fill and the glasses that came with it, both are clear. I thought one would be clear one would be frosted ? Hmm..

My first wick job is horrible, leaking like an open tap

I checked the authenticity of my geek vape product, but it said "the security code has been checked 1 time on Geekvape website.

Is that a normal notification?
I asked the vendor about it and he said he used the security code to check the authenticity first in case of clone.

Where did you buy from?

Nice warm vape - quite flavorful and super huge clouds
Coiling is super easy
Wicking needs to be right other when filling up it leaks like tap water
Only drawback is the posts - extra khantal needs to be clipped flush otherwise may cause shortage and cant screw back the cap.

I msged their facebook, they said all their Avocado 24 has only clear tanks.

And he said all the black Avocado 24 he has don't have silicon seals.

Look at the fill ports of those black avocado 24's...there's a silicone seal present. No wonder your tank is leaking...u need a seal there no matter if it's stainless steel or black.

Huh. Sounds fishy. That sounds like an extremely shoddy clone right there. An authentic Avocado 24 have both the clear and frosted glass section. They might be reputable and whatnot but who said they're immune to a fault. Maybe its their supplier that's ripping them off but either way, you should get a full refund.

The guy monitoring Vapor Hub's FB page is saying that the frosted glass and clear glass is Geekvape's problem. "They produce different kit for their stock" "Griffin has the same kind of problems too" "Geekvape product not consistent"

What I don't understand is the silicon seal part, I believe every Avocado 24 should have it.

Very weird in regards with the authentication bit. But before we go on, I'm actually running the Baby 'Cado, not the 24. So yeah, I don't even have a filling port lol.

Back to authentication. Looking at the FT 'Cado, and review units, I saw that they had the green "Avocado" tank rings installed and not the black ones (as on mine). Got a bit concerned and went straight back to the box for the codes, and straightaway got the "congratulations, your product is authentic" thing - none of that "your code have been checked" crap.

My theory is its open boxed and used. I'm giving the folks at VH the benefit of the doubt, it might be authentic but it might also be a return (because of the seals missing - GV does have their moments).

Or like, nekkidgramma said, it might be their supplier ripping them off pun. We don't know.

That said, the missing glass is really dodgy. As much as GV can be variable, they are also quite generous as far as manufacturers go: I have two of them ceramic blocks and silicone plugs, when Youde only gives you one with the GMv2. I can't see how the 'Cado 24 can come with single glass when even the Baby comes with two.

Check out the FT pics for the 24: Clearly two tanks and silicone on the filling ports for the blacks.

Hopefully you got that awesome orange tool thing though (us Baby folks only got a shitty Allen key).

Weird thing is, the 'Scratch and Check' part was untouched. How in the world did they (VH) get the code to check if it's authentic from their vendors? Dodgy dodgy.

Hm, they gave me two glasses. I was under the impression where I'd get a clear and a frosted glass. In my case, I got two clear ones.
If that is the way GV has been running their manufacturing standards, I'd rather get a clone. That shouldn't be the way to run a company, customer's expectations should be controlled and met. Me, as a consumer, would like to get a product and see all the parts there as advertised. /rant

You're supposed to get one clear and one frosted Bro (at least thats how it is for my BabyC and how the 24 pics on FT show the package). It's sounding more and more like a return... or an unfortunate lemon.
