Survival of the fittest? Law of the jungle. I think its wise for who has a lot of funds to buy over closing smaller vape businesses.
Basically paying a friction of the costs. And then persevere/sustain. Sure its a risk, but aren't all business a risk. The main thing is to have loads of funds.
But then again, our culture isn't about that, most of our business are all about profit profit profit. Not to say profit is wrong, but i think to have other motivation than money would be good too. For a cause...so to say.
Somehow i think Vape Empire would survive. Well hopefully. Maybe close down a few stores when it goes really bad (since i think theyre almost everywhere).
Well thats just my kopi petang talk. I dont own a business. Hoping for the best.
Yeah that. Didn't want to say out of courtesy but it's exactly that. That's how a market matures I guess.
Funny that I was actually thinking that VE would survive jugak. Their massive expansion did serve an extra, often overlooked purpose: Making them a very well known brand thoughout the region (check out VE Vietnam, Thailand and India), even if the current hostile local situation is hurting even them to the point that they're closing a few of their local branches (though I do think they can actually afford losing a few limbs at this point in time lol). At least people know they exist as a brand.
Hopefully they do survive. I've been to a couple of their shops and while pricing isn't cut rate cheap, most of their branches had relatively decent service, a wide variety of stocks and interesting time-limited offers that kept things fresh. They felt like the Tesco of local vaping shops really lol.
And yeah, as much as Giant/Mydin/TF can be cheaper, I'm a sucker for Tesco variety of choice, offers and decent service. Go figure lol.
So yeah, with the basics all nailed down, only the Gomen going full postal on vaping would kill VE off I guess (and even then I hear they have been taking preemptive measures to make sure that they won't go down that easy if the Gomen does decide to go full retard).
On the other hand, you can always go full "boutique" and "exclusive" as what LeGadgets had done. Sure, their prices can be cekik darah, but I honestly don't think their clientele cares lol.
It'll be pretty fun looking at how the market matures really... provided our Gomen doesn't go FDA or TPD on us.
