Yup. It's RM 99 per month.. currently testing use more than 6GB

Should not take so long? If it were me I could make quick work of 6GB, but sadly this would just blow through my entire month's internet.

If there is a way please let me know, anybody. They bust a cap in my internet!

So i only have to pay RM99 per month ?
Can i not subscribe to any value plans ?
Seldom make any calls or msg.

And if i take the 3GB plan, after i finish using all the 3GB, will they charge me or throttle the speed ?

Same.. I can download 6GB thing in one day.. but I have one sim only..
If I put the sim card on modem all my incoming call cant reach me anymore...

and look at my signal strength.....its on low signal too

today maxis is very erratic

one moment it can stream at 2.5MBps then the next moment it stays stagnant, not "moving" at all

anyone face this problem

Sometimes it is erratic, but in a good way.

Before I reach the cap, it is slow.

After the cap, it is fast (but this doesn't last too long).

Overall it is good enough, except for the impossibly small cap.

Me too, but not just today. While the speed is high, I notice the 'stagnance'. Then it resumes. Then it stalls again. Like data is being transferred in intermittent chunks.

Plus, I notice that I get disconnected quite frequent nowadays, even when not idling and the signal is full. When I reconnect, sometimes no data flows in and all website requests show 'looking up (hostname)'. Have to disconnect and try again.

Very, very annoying as my downloads are ruined.

usually after 3.00am, it will be back to normal again.......freaking fast, >2.0 MBps

No problem from my end, seldom facing with disconnections.
I'm not so a hardcore user la, I only use for normal download = 1GB/day and with Youtube watching. No buffer and max speed here.

6.81 Mbps, very nice It's difficult to get that speed continuously.

Nevertheless my internet *peaked* at about 7.44Mbps.

that's not maxis speedtest...
that's my streamyx 4mbps package which capped at 7mbps

Holy scheisse wow, your streamyx 4Mbps reached 7Mbps? How the hell is that even possible (when I had 1Mbps Streamyx it only went to like 1.2+ tops).

Unfortunately Streamyx was really bad for me, and I am not sure if I will ever get it again (besides, it is quite expensive, how much is your 4Mbps?).

I paying RM 88 from streamyx unipack package but too bad I had moved to hostel..
so now I'm using maxis
