QUOTE(jep @ Jun 30 2016, 03:12 PM) I'm also looking into 64GB SE to replace my aging close to capacity 16GB i5...currently on Celcom 38...3GB is just enough every month for me..to go with plan or not? hmmm Since you live in KL, plan with umobile is the cheapest. Also if you terminate the plan later, you only pay much lower price than retail/normal shop. |

It you are happy with Celcom coverage, stick with it. 38 is very good price. One up with be the 80 first gold plan. 5+5GB plan. Then you can sign a one year commitment and save a few hundred ringgit. Or just buy outright and stick with the 38 plan. Paying more for some thing you don't use is a big cost in the long run. This post has been edited by jychow: Jul 1 2016, 09:56 AM |

Plus telco plans are getting more and more competitive... not signing a contract gives you the flexibility to switch later on when you see a more suitable plan with good coverage at your area. |

QUOTE(AngleR35 @ Jul 4 2016, 02:22 PM) You can try to look for it at Spectrum Mall Ampang Digi Store. Last Saturday I went there to sign my Iphone 6S. They told me there are 1 (or 2) Iphone SE 64G Rose Gold available. |

QUOTE(Chrono-Trigger @ Jul 5 2016, 08:25 AM) I read some where with 16gb, we need to clear storage even for Whatsapp from time to time. Picture somehow is a must to clear. 12mp cam sure produce huge pic file. QUOTE(junkyman @ Jul 5 2016, 08:40 AM) May I ask about your usage? CuriousQUOTE(jychow @ Jul 5 2016, 11:06 AM) Depends on individual usage. If you are not a gamer, it should be alright. But if you game a lot, you should get the higher capacity. Games are bigger in size. At moment, the only game I play only Clash Royale, Candy Crush series. Maybe few other games. |

The usual Apps like whatsapp will take 2-3 Gig EASILY if your friends like to send pictures and video. Facebook cache, I-message , all need storage.May I ask about your usage? Curious At moment, the only game I play only Clash Royale, Candy Crush series. Maybe few other games. Safe to say, with MINIMAL apps and maybe 6 months of photos taken irregularly, you will end up with about 2G of storage left to work with.I find this very restrictive and I need to constantly backup my photos and delete them from Iphone to make way for extra space. The updates for the Apps keep getting LARGER incrementally. I remember it was only 90mb for Facebook two years ago, but now you see the it ballooning to 120MB. 16Gig will affect your user experience with Iphone. 16 Gig iphone models don't have very good resale value IMHO. I attempted to sell my Iphone 6 16G model few months ago, to my surprise only got 2-3 inquiries in lowyat forum. In summary, consider this 1. User experience 2. Resale value This post has been edited by Chrono-Trigger: Jul 5 2016, 12:44 PM |
