Would like to ask about Zerolution.
Iphone SE 64Gb package as below:

RM66 (device monthly) + RM20  (upgrade for zerolution) + RM23 (safe device plan) = RM109 per month (24 months contract)

Option A:
RM109 x 12 months = RM1308 , then I get to change to a new phone every 12 months. But if I want to terminate zerolution, I need to pay the balance RM1302.

Is this a good plan to go to?

Some say the second hand value of Iphone is very high. So outright purchase RM2449.00, used one year and sell it off, how much can I roughly get back?

Sorry, want to jump into iphone, newbie from android gang.
*
After 1 year then sell off? Probably around RM1700-1900 for 64GB version. (depending on the demand that time)

Btw about the zerolution. Are you ready to pay RM109 + RM128 (lowest plan) every months ? (not inclusive GST)

For me the lowest plan is expensive, they should have RM98 plan for this phone. This is why I opt to Umobile plan. They also have 'zerolution' plan called Upackage. Much cheaper plan, cheaper commitment but the only problem is 4G/LTE data when you travelling outside of their main territory.

If you still want the Maxis plan, I suggest you don't opt for RM43 upgrade for zerolution rubbish. This is for people that don't want to trouble themselves to sell it their own.

Currently use Zerolution for my S7 Edge and terminated my other zerolution for my OnePlus 2 last month. Balance that I need to pay is just remaining months times device monthly only.

I just check with Maxis that there is cheaper zerolution for iPhone SE

For iPhone SE

16GB (RM76+Rm68/98(Plan) for 2 Years
64GB (RM96+RM68/98(Plan) for 2 Years

basically is RM96+RM68+GST
So monthly is around RM17X
*
Where did you see it has a RM98 plan for iphone SE?

https://store.maxis.com.my/maxis/personal/d...2993.1419097293

&

http://www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/device...zerolution.html

Both are showing RM128 is cheapest.

RM66 for the device, plus 128 for your Maxis One plan if you take the 64 GB without the extra 20 +23. I asked already. Asked few stores + maxis CS.
*
I gave example RM109 assume that you want the upgrade + protection.

Then you are willing to pay RM194 X 24 months ? (not inclusive GST some more)
Maxis want to tie people with their expensive plan with contract. Unless you are really heavy data usage, then why not?

Just ask yourself, if you are often travelling to other states, take either Celcom (NewPhone) or Maxis (Zerolution) coz their 4G network is reliable.
If not, just take the Umobile (Upackage) but need credit card though.

Thanks for the info...
And also is it save to use the home button often? Will it spoil easily like previous iPhone?
Sry alot of question... New apple user here...
*
Yes since it still using the 1st gen of touch id/home button. For me, I just use the home button when I want to turn on the display.
Other than that, I just use virtual home button.

I'm waiting for the latest Jailbreak actually and install the tweak called VirtualHome. A touch (not press) will do the trick.

i bought iphone se in the first week it sold. my first apple product. i dont get it how ios can be said to be simpler. the keyboard doesn't support dual language but samsung stock keyboard support that since jelly bean. you cannot do quick edit  and erase an alphabet  if its in the middle of a word, you have to 'backspace' from the end of that word.

so I use swiftkey keyboard. its fine except when you use Safari. it revert back to stock IOS keyboard. it takes me hours and hours digging on how to personalize my ringtone and sms tones. something in android you just take 10 minutes to do. i like always-listening Siri though. of course i love the small form factor.
*
This one is wrong. You can easily edit and erase an alphabet in the middle of a word.
While you are typing and you need to edit some misspell word, press and hold the empty area until the magnifier pop out. Still press and hold, just move your finger left and right until you stop at the alphabet you want to delete. Stop in front of the alphabet and press backspace. Done.

Btw, agree with you there are a lot of limitation. But with Jailbreak, you are free. Every time I owned new iphone, the first day I'd just jailbreak it. Unlucky for now, still no news for newer jailbreak version.
I suggest, when the iphone 7 come out and jailbreak is ready for it, try it one more time. This time, you won't disappointed. I assure you. laugh.gif

Also, you can just scroll on the keyboard left and right to select/go to anywhere in the text field by tweak in jailbreak (this one already have in 6S coz of it's 3D touch, but need to press harder & hold anywhere in keyboard). Which is I told you, one of the must tweak that you should have.
The other favorite tweak is VirtualHome that no need to press the home button to go to home, just touch it. Preserve the home button in the long run. laugh.gif

For mine, whole screen looks like yellowish compared with my 6S+.
If that's what you mean by yellow tint, then I don't bother it much as I know this screen is refurbished/reused from iphone 5S.

Hi guys,

Just changed to  iphone Se from android

Is there any way to stop the ios update notifications from coming up every day.

It's very irritating when I do not intend to update to latest 9.3.2 yet.
*
Nope. Every time you charge the phone and connected to wifi, it will ask again. Even you delete the update file.

I'm also looking into 64GB SE to replace my aging close to capacity 16GB i5...currently on Celcom 38...3GB is just enough every month for me..to go with plan or not? hmmm
*
Since you live in KL, plan with umobile is the cheapest. Also if you terminate the plan later, you only pay much lower price than retail/normal shop.

After price slashed last time, saw many people selling their iphone. It is a good time to buy one? Or wait till launch date? Might be clearance from Switch or Machine?
*
The best warehouse clearance is from Machines but only once per year if I'm not mistaken.

iPhone SE 16 GB - RM1,754

All items are open box

You can refer here

Not attractive as last clearance in early June. Maybe the one I talk about is once per year?
Coz demo set for iphone 6S 16GB was for RM1599 and 6S+ 16GB for RM1849 and still have warranty left.

Oh, clearance display unit? Aren't they got molested very hard on display? Afraid many things broken later.

Well, you can check and try the phone first before buy. If it's bad, change to others. I bought 2 last time, everything is working great.
When reached home, I check the battery health, check for dead pixel and all, just like bought a 2nd hand phone. If there is a problem later on, it's still have a warranty left. The longest one I saw is still have 10-11 months while shortest one is 3-4 months. Only cannot claim for cosmetic issues.
