Hi guys,

Just changed to  iphone Se from android

Is there any way to stop the ios update notifications from coming up every day.

It's very irritating when I do not intend to update to latest 9.3.2 yet.
*
delete the update files in storage. then dont connect to wifi and charger simultaneously, otherwise it will download again and prompt u to update

Attached Image
A1723 with band 3 & 7 (most telco in malaysia use these two band for 4g/lte)
Attached Image
A1662 with only band 3. so you might not get lte on some telco/ some areas

I believe that is the cause. Signal strengthen plays an important role. Which telco are you using?

Anyone experiencing the getting hotter and hotter while using it?
I don't know if it is normal?
I never got this when using all my previous phone..
If not..I might need to return it. Just using it for a week.

if it keep searching for network, then it is getting hot easily. set the mobile network according to your location. if u r staying in area with lte/4g, then set it to 4g; otherwise dont switch on lte/4g. same goes to area with low signal, switch to airplane mode or Voice over wifi.

Hi,

I am currently a digi prepaid user.
Not a heavy phone calling user at all. Whasapp mostly, FB and Youtube on the go only.

I wonder what is the most ideal to purchase an iphone SE. Prefably 64GB.

- Direct Buy from Apple Shop.
- Post paid as low as RM48 with 12 months contract from Digi.
(Seems to save a few hundred RM here, but i don't feel want to subscribe to any plan if possible.)

This two are by far my research.

Please advice.
Thanks~

It will depend on your monthly data usage as well. roughly how many gb u use/month?

For me, I am existing maxisone user with RM128/month for 10gb.. so i can just simply sign with maxis for Iphone SE package with an additional RM66/month for 64gb IpSE.

Device Price-RM66*24 month = RM1584

I don't really bother about 128 commitment since this is my current commitment. which make me think with additional rm66/m i can get this IpSE is worth for me.. 😁

Nope... Unless if there is graphic intense game going on...I played poker without casing, don't feel any heat at all.

Tied in with telco will help you to save some money. The money saved will pay off a few months of phone bills. Imagine if you don't sign for any plan, you still have to pay bills too. I think 12 months commitment is alright. 24 months would be too long. The recent telco war has alerted many about signing long term plan.

THanks for the reply, guys.

I used less than 500mb on the go just for conveniency to check updates/info in a hurry or emergency.

Spoiler83, the maths you did gave me a proper picture with the telco beneficial now.

Anyhow I still have to pay RM30 every month to keep the line activate.

Too bad, digi online is out of stock with Iphone SE 64GB now.
