I read some where with 16gb, we need to clear storage even for Whatsapp from time to time. Picture somehow is a must to clear. 12mp cam sure produce huge pic file.
May I ask about your usage? Curious
At moment, the only game I play only Clash Royale, Candy Crush series. Maybe few other games.

I can survive 16GB in iPad but not on iPhone.

got a pristine condition of iPhone 6 Plus at good price, too bad 16GB. rejected her already.

Hmm.. 16gb sounds very bad.
How is user experience and resale value?
Then by 64gb will be same like 16gb eventually sooner or later am I right?
*
64GB can survive longer at least 3/4 years without doing housekeeping.

I will be using SE for quite some time soon. And too bad it's 16gb version.
Since sooner or later, this small storage will be an issue for me, other than iCloud, may I use Google Drive or Dropbox for cloud storage? Will they be as good as iCloud?
*
Google Photos for unlimited photo of backup. brows.gif

How about send photo as file on Telegram? Someone told me that.

Telegram is cloud based social apps, there are an option to clear cache iinm. Unlike WhatsApp that store everything local.

ios can clear cache? how about later need to reset whole phone to clear whole thing?
*
The Telegram the apps itself, inside build in clear cache function. Not the iOS itself. (not even bother iOS 10 because it also doesnt have this feature to clear cache for apps, Android ftw! lol laugh.gif )

Even you reset your phone, the Telegram all chat and msg are still there in the Cloud (Telegram Cloud, not iCloud/Google Drive/Dropbox whatever etc) and is encrypted on server side. You need manually clear chat logs byself from the Telegram Cloud.

TLDR: Telegram are more advanced than Whatsapp, but less popular than Whatsapp in Malaysia.

TLDR 2.0 - Telegram does not have end to end encryption last checked. Probably why Whatsapp more popular since people are paranoid nowadays.
*
Got lar.
Q: What if I’m more paranoid than your regular user?
We've got you covered. Telegram’s special secret chats use end-to-end encryption, leave no trace on our servers, support self-destructing messages and don’t allow forwarding. On top of this, secret chats are not part of the Telegram cloud and can only be accessed on their devices of origin.

Q: So how do you encrypt data?

We support two layers of secure encryption. Server-client encryption is used in Cloud Chats (private and group chats), Secret Chats use an additional layer of client-client encryption. All data, regardless of type, is encrypted in the same way — be it text, media or files.
Our encryption is based on 256-bit symmetric AES encryption, RSA 2048 encryption, and Diffie–Hellman secure key exchange. You can find more info in the Advanced FAQ.

Yes, sealed sets and I created a new Apple ID when activated the phone.

Just check with Apple Customer Service, even thought the app store showing "USDX.XX" but still can download it free, as long you didn't put any payment info and I just downloaded all those apps  rclxms.gif

Most built-in iOS apps could be removed from the home screen in iOS 10. However, Apple revealed that you're only removing the apps' icons; the app itself is still loaded on the phone, in memory.

They use a beautiful name, called "removed" but in fact, in Android, we called it "Disabled" to be exact.

Hi guys,

Currently I'm using 5c 16GB and thinking to 'upgrade' to SE, only the 16GB model suit my budget since I only have 2k.

May I know is there anyone here using the SE 16GB model? So far the small storage suit your usage?

My phone usage can be consider minimal as I only use my phone to call, Whatsapp (quite a lot media), take photo (not always), music (apple music).

Anyone can advise because I don't want to feel 'I should've gotten the 64GB version' after I bought it.

For me, I expect my phone can last me 3 years.

Thanks guys smile.gif

64GB or you regret for sure.
