Er... Why is this needed? laugh.gif
Why does one require to go to branch so often? laugh.gif

Some of my cards were applied online. In fact, my Wise card was applied through a super efficient officer who works in USJ Taipan branch.
My best experience in applying a credit card, approved within 2 working days and got dispatch to collect documents from me in my office at KL. thumbup.gif

Well said. Haha. I think some people forget that bank is not doing charity business. As if giving cash back to us is our given rights. Seriously, I think at some point, the 10% is probably no more

Probably u are referring me as those "some people" tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif
Agree that bank in not doing charity, but we know AF is not the main source and not even an important income for bank. Bank don't depend on AF to survive.
That is the logic we always heard about "Retention Unit/Team" that call back customer to stay on with their CC, and none of the bank setting up a team that calling them "Bring in more AF for the Bank" Unit/Team.

penny wise pound foolish, rather than looking at the small amount, think of the amount you can earn from them, while still able to.

No worry. If you indicated that you want to receive to your house/office address, they will sent to you through courier.
Usually I prefer to collect at the branch which near to my office even for my supp card, bank staff will call me to collect once the cards reach at branch.

I read thru this topic stated annual fee can't wavier, i try make a call to customer service just now, they said can do waiver if i do an additional swipe 6 times transaction with any amount within this month (my card due on Apr 2016) then will do waiver for me. Is anyone experience this? can trust or not?
*
Upon reading your case i call up CS. My principal+supp AF were charged 2 wk back. Failed to get waiver for both. She confirm with supervisor no such waivers except for last year free AF for supp card promo.
Mission failed. Disappointed…

This is the mindset that HLB bet on, and arrogantly reject AF waiver.
As the requirement is 10x RM50, they have minimum secured RM500 transactions per customer.
Must show consumer power. When more and more terminate, they will be desperate.
*
They will be more happy if you cancel the card.

Second, will you apply again for this card after cancellation? If yes, what if HLB rejected your application? mega_shok.gif

You wont be working in Malaysia, but you will still earn rebates on overseas spending right? As long as the MCC falls under the 3 categories you still can maximize the cashback. No need to cancel ma..

Have to take into consideration of exchange rate and also service charge.
If I were him, I might consider to terminate too.

I don't know, but if those add up still less than 10% I will still use, provided there are no other better cards.

but for us as 'foreigner' in other country, it might be harder to get credit card approval.
Don't cancel until you managed to get a better card from overseas.
