generally, what doesnt surpass the 80k is unlikely to be a positive from the bank.
So i doubt it can be! =)
Tough times...

Unless one is pretty sure one can spend 80k a year, i would not advice this card...may be simpler to just take the stand alone infinite..."only" need to spend 50K....

Or maybe perhaps can be waived by using Priority Banking Premier Wealth status?

Or any members here whose have Premeir Wealth status and have free premium credit cards ?

If you have Premier Wealth / private banking status from the bank, you can call your RM and request for waiver. I've done that for someone who has less than 20k spending on the card but has large amount of FD parked in the bank.

Annual fee charged based on the expiry month embossed on your card. I believe yours should be January.

For your scenario.

Feb 2016 - Jan 2017 = Free, less than 12 months usage
Jan 2017 - Jan 2018 = AF kicks in

You can enjoy 23 months without AF.

Spending count for the entire period, Feb 2016 for your case.
No need pay any AF since Maybank don't charge you, up to Jan 2018. To be safe, cancel on Dec 2017.

Hi.
Q1. Would like seek for advise what's the difference between 2 premier card and VISA infinite?
From the website the amex reserve doesn't seem provided more rewards and privileges.
I found that RM50k annual spending on MBB card is possible for me. Dare not guarantee can hit RM80k spending.

Q2. In this case, or should I request change to MBB visa infinite from 2 premier card? Could I? Or need apply the VISA infinite separately.

Thanks a lot for your advise.

1. spendings on amex also gets 5 treatpoints locally, compared to 2 points with visa (excluding the 1 point and zero point categories)

2. They are separate cards, and you cannot change from one to the other....will need to formally cancel one and apply for the other...card numbers will change....however any treatpoints can be ported over....

Thanks a lot for the info. notworthy.gif

It sound attractive to me. Will re-arrange to make it RM80k annual spending..
Any one experience annual fee waiver below RM80k spending? Like Spend RM50k got the waiver..

1. Anyone using MBB visa signature for petrol and groceries rebate? Then the rest spending on 2 premier cards?
Should I continue my spending on MBB visa signature for petrol and groceries to get 5% rebate or spend on 2 premier cards to get treat points,
which is more valuable?

2. I saw VISA infinite will free 10000 treat points upon activation, does it apply to 2 premier card also? Because I didn't receive the 10000 treat points after first statement.

3. Does 2 premier cards still come with any welcome pack?

Thanks. I did swipe several times already. Receive first statement, didn't show me the free 10000 treat points.
Anyway, will wait next statement then only ask customer service.
