Someone commented this:
Ah, so the official name is "Cherry MX Silent Red" but Diatec (Filco) decided to call them "Cherry MX Pink".

But I have seen another guy mentioned this Pink version could be an improved version of the Cherry MX Red silent version....

Best is you go try it out... no tactile feeling... at first I wanted something like brown switch type when I test at shop but on second thought this red mx silent switch is smooth and linear and kinda good for gaming ...which is like 70 or 80% of my keyboard usage as I hardly type a lot now except for forums...

Good luck but whatever it is your choice... i think mech keyboard is good... smile.gif

thanks, went to Impulse Gaming at Sunway and test brown, blue and red.
blue switch give like double click sound, brown is still quite loud and red almost no sound.
i like the red switch but easy to get typo problem.
Now i want to find the silent switch.
Thank you for suggestion. rclxms.gif

And hence, O-rings for those who have a tendency of bottoming out.

Hmm... Weird. I tried the Realforce. No such tactile feeling.

Or was I mashing the keys way too hard? Lol I mean, it's really smooth but I don't think I felt any bumps.
Or... I just forgot how it felt like completely.

Could be you tried the 35g version. The tactile bump is there albeit, not as pronounced as the 45g or 55g version

I share the same view as richard912.

It is there but less noticeable and less clickly compared to Cherry mx switches.

However, I find it absolutely a blast to type on and have been using it exclusively in my office.

It could be. But I was able to use it personally for some good hours.

After lurking around this thread for some time, just wanna share that finally I have managed to get myself my first mechanical keyboard: Aula Wings of Liberty RGB Gateron Blue Switch.

Basically I went over to Taobao and ordered myself a bundled promo of the said keyboard along with Aula's "Sanction" mouse. Total Damage was around RM 209 inclusive of shipping and it took 5 days to arrive at my doorstep.

So far I am happy with the performance of the keyboard albeit with a shoddy spacebar (The spacebar fell off upon my initial unboxing and I tried to assemble it back however now it seems to me that spacebar itself is slightly uneven i.e. slanting towards my right thumb, however I hope I can get an easy fix for this wink.gif )

Just a shoddy sample pic of the keyboard/mouse combo along with my lappie wub.gif
