Thanks, I will check this out.

I think I will support the suggestion too since I have tried the keyboard at Viewnet Lowyat couple of weeks back. Still can feel the tactile feedback just that the actuation force required is slightly higher for me (maybe because it was a new keyboard hence the "kacip fatimah"-esque firmness/tightness on the rubber dome innocent.gif ).

Since it is also bundled with a rather nice mouse, I think I personally forgo the higher price point of the aforementioned Razor keyboard and go with the CM Mem-chanical RGB Keyboard combo.

Cool, I will probably test it.

However, probably won't buy any more mechanical / membrane keyboards.

I have like 7 mechanical keyboards which are all brown-switches and one topre (5 here and 2 in Malaysia).

Both are very solid boards. Cannot go wrong with both. But Leopold has better value because of detachable cable and PBT keycaps.

i agree with you too. both Filco n Leopold seem almost the same but Leopold comes with thicker PBT keycaps and removable cable. Filco is just over-hyped

After nearing 3 years of use and almost half a cup of nescafe spill around last year, my filco finally started chattering on "b" "n" and "/" key and after some lazy cleaning with vacuum and blowing it the one that started chattering are now not responding and other keys start to get same issue. Tried on another pc, still same.

Any place selling the compressed air can? Last I read around here is Ace Hardware.

Get it new, and harvest your switches and clean it and sell the switches.

Hahaha. Leopold is actually a really good board. I'm using FC900R at work. The keycaps is freaking sweet. It took me some time to get used to Cherry Profile though as I'm accustomed to OEM profile.

Filco could be overhyped in the western coutries but not here in Malaysia as Filco's price in the western coutries is skyhigh considering it has no LEDs and shitty keycaps (many board has shitty caps anyway). But Filco gave me the best typing experience out of many boards that I've owned, costar stabs baby. Build quality? I think Leopold and Filco is on par, Ducky One feels flimsy to me.

Just my 2cent.

Value for money definitely will be Leopold. As you able to save on spending extra for the pbt keycap... But one thing is everyone have their own custom keycap set... If filco can bring better feel of typing... I believe filco it is ... Since filco easily available...
