I remember someone mentioned here that 'water sheeting' is more important that 'water beading' to prevent water marks.

Can anyone please suggests methods for a good 'water sheeting'? I had my car coated and the water marks are just so terrible!
*
It's common issue faced by coated car. Suggested method is to have a top coat (which is a soft coat) to serve as "sacrificial layer". And it usually has strong water repellency/water sheeting ability.
May I know what kind of coating you are using right now? From what I know, some are really easy to get watermarks.

DAS6PRO price seem ok. Do you have contact?
There CLOVER brand (china) which replicate flex and rupes. Are they reliable?

GC is more expensive is because its in a bigger bottle.
Wash n Wax is gentler thus lesser cleaning ability.
This is a good choice if you're on a weekly top up wash plus quickwax.

GC doesnt have any waxing ability. It cleans better for a better prep for compound/polishing.

Detailing, its all about the prep before doing anything else.

Hi,

I just gotten my car 1 week ago. It is time for me to wash and wax for the first time.

My intended routine is:

1st step: Wash with Meg Gold Class car wash.
2nd step: Dry with microfiber.
3rd step: Clay with Meg Quik Detailer as lubricant using PG clay.
4th step: Wax with Meg Ultimate Paste Wax.

So my questions are:

1. When washing, is microfiber wash mitts acceptable? It is a lot cheaper them lambwool mitts.
2. Is spray wax or quik detailer necessary when drying the car? Or is it recommended?
3. When buffing off the wax, what type of microfiber cloth should I use? Comparing the cloths made by PG, the washing microfiber has a rougher texture, while the polishing microfiber has a finer texture.
4. What wax would you guys recommend?

I'll say go for Wash n Wax if you're just planning on washing only.

1. Yes... I'm using that as well. Would say more important is the pre-rinse to get the sand n debris off and the wash technique.
2. Necessary, no. Recommended yes.
3. Use soft plush mf cloths.
4. Depends on your budget and brand preference. Many out there. I'm using the ultimate paste wax. No complaints.
