I never had that problem with nxt wax. But all in all, my personal experience is that not all Meguiars products are worth the money. Mostly lots of fluff, although one or two are worthwhile, and I'm not talking about their wax and sealants.
I've been using Ultimate Liquid Wax on one car exclusively since December last year. Its a white SUV which I wax every month, apply using DA / LC Black. I try to wash every weekend and top with Duragloss Aquawax / Sonax BSD after every wash. So far no problem .
Meanwhile another one I coated with 22PLE VX1 pro... coming to 3 years.... has watermarks etching (should be remove-able with acid cleaner but I'm going to redo the coating due to accident repair)... but the water beading is still crazy tight like day one.
Hi all, anyone here tried those car detailing voucher that bought from Groupon? Many claim that they using Meguaria products for washing, polishing and waxing with price below 100.. this making me doubt is that true?
I used to try those a couple of years back with my old Myvi. What happens is 50% of the time they try to up sell you something. Workmanship is pretty much a hit and miss.. you get what you pay for. Clay-Polish-Wax? Well kind of.. they all use AIO product. Don't expect 3 individual steps If you just want to maintain a daily use car which is not your beloved.. its not a bad deal (cheap & saves you energy for more important stuff)... and better than not having it maintained
I've heard some of those car detailing centres are money laundering fronts.. one reason the prices seem ridiculous at times

For light polish and scratches removal, can I know which is recommended, a rotary buffer or a dual action buffer?
I found that rotary buffer can go as low as rm150 for no brand and rm250 for skil brand. DA will need at least RM500, which is double.
Rotary need SKILLs, DA is safer and finish nicer. Where else to finish using Rotary is something hard and can only be achieved by experience and knowledge. To cut and correct yes rotary is the one. But to finish nicely and perfectly, skill is a must. meanwhile using DA, correction is somewhat achievable but not as great. But finishing is da bomb. Just need a know how and not depends on skills so much. As long it rotate, it is doing it thing.

Casual use, dual action. Slower but so much safer. Besides if you're doing a daily driver, it won't stay perfect for long so for me I live with something great but somewhat less than a mirror finish. Besides, there's no guarantee you'll get that mirror finish with a rotary, you risk finishing with holograms.
Out of the 3 i've only used the meguiars UPW.. no complaints so far. Hand application.. easy on, easy off. Tip is to use it sparingly per instructions.. else you're gonna have nice workout. Colour of car shouldn't matter imho.

Hmm based on the descriptions, the ion concept is to make the bonding between the paint and wax better. Heard of this Taihokohzai wax before, but I have never used this before. Probably you can try it out and let us know .
If you don't want to take any risk, but you still prefer Japanese wax, you can go for soft99 fusso coat 12 months (年間防水).
