Hi there everyone, I'll be picking up my car this week. It's a second hand City (used 1 year +). Can anyone recommend some good car wash/wax/polish workshop? Planning to send it in for a one time fix.

If you were in Ampang..may I suggest to you to go to J-glaze.. He's been dealing with high end cars.. Not promoting but his workmanship is good.. have a chat with him and see.. his name is Vincent.. it's best you go there and talk to him regarding about packages
i used to be fancy about those rain repellent thingy now i just clay and clean my windscreen with alcohol/APC once a while and top up with spray wax .. tada same thing
second that. my 6 yrs old car use by wifey was neglected, wind screen was full of water mark & wiper also not working properly already. claybar my wind screen (use a good branded claybar instead of those cheap 3M), bought new wiper, after car wash apply Meguiar's spray wax.. tada.. like a new wind screen. i'm a happy man because wife also happy now..
btw, is it ok to use Meguiar's ultimate wash & wax or gold class on wind screen? will harm wiper rubber? (didn't know soap is no good to wiper...)

Quick question.. rinse before you foam or straight foam without rinse
My findings over the internet have so many different answers and thoughts
I usually foam then rinse if it is dirty, If I want extra lubrication I rinse then foam, If it is super dirty I foam, rinse, and re foam for extra lubrication.
But usually I just rinse and wash without foaming. Barely use my foamer now.
1. foam 2. rinse with PW 3. foam 4. wash with 2BM 5. rinse with PW 6. flood rinse with open hose ( check below photo) 7. wipe/tap dry + drying aid
flood rinse :
After 2nd time foam, do you still require 2 bucket method?
2 bucket method is 1 rinse, and 1 soap.. so by having it foam (again), shouldnt that be enough to put away the soap bucket? I.e only 1 bucket to rinse the mitt
I never hose rinse before this.. i will try.

Think regardless of situation 2 bucket method is probably the safest wash method currently known. There are some grime and dirt that foam and pressure washer may have missed, especially under the side doors and bumpers. Better safe than sorry.
Flood rinse as shown by slk is meant to help ease the burden of drying the car. Often when u final rinse with spray water it creates alot of droplets to wipe dry, hence requiring to often squeeze out water from your drying cloth before continue. With flood rinsing, water drags water out of the surface, making less leftover water after final rinse. This method allows me personally to use a medium size drying towel to dry the entire car exterior without the need to waste time and energy squeezing the towel.
