I also agree on Thaurissian.

1) There hasn't been any announcement of any new oceanic PvP servers.
2) When BC releases how many of us are willing to wait 2weeks? Of course we want to play our blood elves NOW.

As for guild name, i also vote for something silly/funny rather than serious.

i have tried thaurisaan just several minutes ago. i must say it is pretty fast even on my puny streamyx connection. getting like 300ms on 60.50 IP. would like others to try it first and see how it feel on your connection. just wondering how old already is this server cause a quick /who found that a bunch of 60s already at badlands. transfer possibly? why is it that i did not see any new realms on wow news regarding thaurisaan? when is it setup?

on a new oceanic server when TBC is released, i have check wow forums and this is the FAQ section on what blizzard personnel have to say regarding new realms for TBC.

Q: Will new realms be opened when the expansion is released?

A: We are planning to open new realms with the release of The Burning Crusade, but we do not have any specifics to share at this time.

in other words. we are not sure if new oceanic is going to be setup soon.

oh yes. since so many of u are going BE, what will u guys be rolling as if we decide to go for thaurisaan? or perhaps we are thinking of getting prepared first?

550ms for 218.111.xxx.xxx, still dc when you see whole bunch of people.

Tried in Thaurisaan realm...... around 500ms. not bad. Not sure what status when there are lots of people.

thaurisaan was abt 1 half months old. it was originally opened first for JT/frostmournes free transfers..so far i think its still quite a quiet realm.

Abt the new realms when BC launched, i dont know..i read somewhere b4 and it says US realms...ill try to dig up where i found tht info..come on guys..those who are interested in this project..speak up!! is thaurisaan okay or u guys wanna wait for a brand new realm? im ok either way.

We'll most prolly start after chinese new year.. cuz we dowanna waste our playtime as we'll prolly be goin around collecting angpauS and stuff..

I'm pretty sure there will be new servers out when BC is released.. even in oceanic. Only thing that we'll have to endure is the rush of bloodelves and their silly mounts (seriously, its damm fugly compared to elekks). Hopefully there will be some people willing to play warriors and stuff. I don't mind playin one but.. =/

I prefer short kickass names for the guild name.. such as Divine, Outclassed, Untouchables, Aftermath, Infinity bla bla..

Anyway, I'll visit this place every day to check on updates so.. keep it comin

I say we go for Thaurisaan, BC is 5 days away (we need to wait for 2 days for the copy to arrive), those who want to start first can go ahead, build the fountation for the guild.

erm maybe we could wait just until this monday to get everyone feedback regarding thaurisaan server? or perhaps just wait 1 or 2 days after tbc is released. i know most of us tangan gatal already to play.

apart from that, we need GUILD NAMES and mottooo. keep it coming peeps!

I would say wait til BC.. cuz i'm pretty darn sure blizz will release new servers.. its only a few more days til BC man.. go do some RL stuff first =D and i don't like servers which are transfer servers.. economy spoil and stuff.. nothing like 8s per stack of copper bar =D

ok..i think we better wait for at least 2 days after BC is launced. that way it is fair to those who place high hopes on a new realm and also those who thinks Thaurisaan is a better bet. IMO, Waiting 2-3 days is much better than waiting 1-2weeks for the whole thing to die down first..i mean in 1-2 weeks, my enthusiams oso die di lol...

agree. 3 days after TBC will be nice. 5 days better. longer then a week enthusiasm will die. but still need contingency plan. what if there is no new oceanic server? i been thinking what some of the members been saying. yes, thaurisaan is a transfer server. that would be not good for us who start fresh in there. i think we should consider of a US PVP realm, JUST IN CASE there is no new oceanic server.

another thing, should we start a poll soon for a guild name? im not sure how this guild setup work, never done it before.

This is what i thought all the time, no queue and no lag at Major City when we login. This mostly depend on how many members can we recruit through this forum, if the amount is small, i think we better go for Oceanic server.

I am ok with US or Oceanic realm though.

Now the most important, pick up a guild name.

i still vote for Malice Mizer because since most of us are going to roll BE, it defines them as full of Malice and Mizery. However, if you all don't agree with me then i guess we can rename it =(

Correct me if i'm wrong , but all the servers are located in the US. and when they say oceanic , it just defines the route . So any reason we're limiting our choices to those. ? Since its gonna be a casual guild, ill have to back bench on this guild, prolly level a toon in my free time, which honestly isnt much. Too used to end game to go back now ...... Anyhow , i'll start a toon when its up and see where this goes , cause frankly dragons we're meant to be killed at night not in the morning rofl.
