depending on how malicious intent progresses in malorne, this project will still still carry on. most probably i'll make malorne my semi casual main (after i hit 70 that is) and which ever server this guild goes to as the new main. i'll be playing a undead rogue as usual and possibly a BE shadow priest.

We'll be launching the following six realms with the release of The Burning Crusade expansion on January 16, at 12:01 AM EST.

Nagrand - PvE, Oceanic - Bloodlust battlegroup
Velen - PvE, Pacific
Coilfang - PvP, Pacific
Terokkar - PvE, Central
Exodar - PvE, Eastern
Auchindoun - PvP, Eastern

The majority of these realms will be placed in a new battlegroup, the name of which has yet to be announced. These are new non-transfer realms and as such the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj will be closed and they will not be open to character transfers for six months.

however, life must go on. I know most of you wanted a PVP server regardless it is oceanic or Pacific. Off course, oceanic is better, but looks like we have to drop for that option. I leave it to you guys to choose. as for me, i dont really mind if it is a US server, as long as the latency is 'acceptable' and it is block transfer. Our option now is left to

How about an Oceanic PVE realm? Less excitement from being ganked I supposed but oh well.

well, the reason why i suggested Oceanic is not so much because of latency or what not, but because most Asians are gonna roll on Oceanic servers. If we roll on a US server, chances of finding our own kind will be very slim. So that's why we should roll on a Oceanic PvP server. I say give it another 3-5 days after BC is released. What do you think dudes?

i dont think that will be the case. This is TBC. this is the time people reroll and make comebacks. When bliz anounce that there will be no oceanic PVP, i am confident that most new players will opt for US PVP realm, INCLUDING our kind. besides, I dont think we have problems of getting members from asia since we are an organize guild, where we can look for members in a flexible means. Our concern should be more focus on getting malaysian + asean participant in OUR guild rather then general population of a realm. If we have 60 malaysian members and 20 asean members + 10 aus/nz, it aint matter anymore if the rest of the population is americans. besides, i feel it is easier to get malaysian + asean participant in our guild when we are in a US server. why? because chances are we are going to be the only asean guild in that server.

as for waiting 3 to days that u mention, i suggest u look into what blizz official have to say further regarding the new realms.

We're aware there are specific requests for realm types and time zones; however for the launch we want to ensure that we have the most popular realm types covered as our goal is to ensure population dispersal. We'll be attempting to hit other time zones and realm types in the near future.

what does near future means? i doubt it means 3 to 5 days. but it all still depends on how long interested members in this guild is willing to wait. everybody morale is so very tinggi now.

no problem dude. we are fun and casual guild. you can play at your own confortable time. but off course we really be happy if u can join us most of the time.

I dont want to argue and i hope you don't fight this as an argument but the part when you said it is easier to find Azn ppl in a US server because of the chances that we are the only Azn guild is quite remote. Wouldn't finding Azn people on an Oceanic realm be much better considering that nearly everybody who's gonna play there consists of Azn's and Aus/NZ people? I did read somewhere about Blizzard releasing another few more realms 2-3 days after TBC is released. Also, i don't know if everybody's gonna start immediately as soon as the game is released because of a few reasons i can think of.

1) Connection might not be back to normal as of tomorrow
2) Some of us might have had our game time expired
3) The page to upgrade your current WOW account to BC account is gonna be in a mess considering there will be millions of people browsing through that site to upgrade their accounts.
4) Influx of people in to the new servers will be massive considering most are starting a new and there would be queues involved.

alright inoran. lets wait for just a little bit longer. say, 5 days maximum after TBC? i was suggetsing 2 weeks after TBC but some members fear enthusiam die. 5 days is nice. by then the net should be fully restered (20 Jan).
