hmm really, i also cannot decide. lets hear it from other members.

guys, what do u think. pick a server prior to TBC launch which is 16 Jan 2007? servers are :-

1) Nagrand - PvE, Oceanic - Bloodlust battlegroup
Velen - PvE, Pacific
Coilfang - PvP, Pacific
Terokkar - PvE, Central
Exodar - PvE, Eastern
Auchindoun - PvP, Eastern

2) OR wait for 5 days after TBC is release and hope that oceanic PVP will be launhch, or

3) OR wait 2 weeks and hope oceanic PVP is launch.

tropicano, what about a poll for this? brows.gif

further info on new realm when TBC is released can be viewed here.

i opt we wait for abt 5 days first...cos new server will going to have massive queues just like when barthilas is first launched...up to 100-200 queues...it probably and most probably will happen with all the server listed at the top...keep in mind, not only us are planning to reroll..im sure some place else where there are others who are thinking of the same and also those who stopped wow for a long time and decided to continue back in BC..So my best bet is to wait abt 5 days for all the huha to die down first...

This is not a hard-core raiding guild.

casual progresive. suitable for newbies, working adult, students, who dont have much time to play, and for those who are sick in a hardcore guild.

I would probably get TBC in like a months time since it only affects the players/zone that are 60+ right?

Anyways, I opt to wait for a few days after TBC official launch, that way, the connection would be smoother. And, start it on a weekend, so all of us can start smile.gif

So the original game + Burning Crusade expansion and a 2 month subscription would add up to?

not exactly. the new expansion set caters both beginners and 60+ alike.

2 new races for those beginners and those who would like to try new contents.
and the Outlands as well as several new dungeons for the 60+.

Subscription should be the same.

Regarding choosing a realm, getting an oceanic realm would gives us advantage of easier recruiting players if we do not have enough but we don't have any new pvp oceanic realm when TBC is out.

If we roll on pvp US realm, getting more members especially Aussie members will be hard but we probably don't face much lag or queueing during our playtime.

In my opinion. since i come from US servers, if I can find a asian guild in the US server, I will definately join in. Hands down.

Plus, it isn't that bad at all playing US servers. My main being a miner, having lots of fun gathering minerals because no one else is mining them...lol. Plus, doing BG at that time ..... sure win.... smile.gif even in WSG and AB ....being in Alliance.

If you guys are afraid that we don't have enough players.....well ...post our guild in forums like these and promote it..... just like now....so many response liao... and haven't start anything yet...lol

And please don't wait too long to get started..... Latest by end of the month.

Just that keep in mind this is a long-term project. Although we get alot of good response now, some ppl with abandon their chars half-way since this is also a casual guild...
That is why rolling on a US realm can cost hassle since future recruitment will be difficult. Rolling on Us server means recruitment is via forums and RL connection. Guild expansion is going to be difficult

well, agree with that but if Blizzard didn't plan to launch an Oceanic realm, i don't see we have any choice.
