Before this, I bought my 8Gb of 2666Mhz ram for 300, now I can even get 16Gb of 3000Mhz ram for just RM3xx, It it ok ? usually high speed ram is just helps on gaming is it ? how on daily usage ? Browsing, Rendering, etc  confused.gif
*
Not all games show significant performance gain with high speed RAM, going from 2666MHz to 3000MHz will probably give you extra 5 FPS in average only, if you are gaming on 1080p60 and already have stable 60 FPS in game, then I don't think that 5 FPS will bring any changes to you.

For browsing, you can hardly feel any difference. As for rendering, yes if you render a lot of high resolution videos/graphics as the memory is faster (I/O) to feed the CPU with the resources it requests.

Assuming you sold your current RAM at RM 250+/- and you will need to top up nearly RM 150+/- for 3000MHz, are you ok with it just for the extra 334MHz? If ok then you can go for it biggrin.gif

Need to add around RM 400, assuming you get the cheapest mITX Z170 mobo i.e Gigabyte Z170N-Gaming 5 but the review for this mobo is quite negative, especially the VRM and heatsink design part which will eventually lead to high temperature when overclocked and it comes with 5 VRM only.

If you op to get a better mobo from Asus, i.e Asus Z170I Pro Gaming, then you need to add another RM 100+/- on top of it.

If you go for OC build, try to pair the CPU with high speed RAM too, i.e 3000MHz RAM, Skylake CPUs do show some significant performance bumps when paired with high speed RAM, but this requires a top up of nearly RM 150+/- as well.

OC doesn't guarantee performance gain in gaming, some do show some performance gains in CPU demanding titles like GTA V, some don't benefit from OC at all, the price/performance ratio is pretty bad if only gaming is involved.
