Before this, I bought my 8Gb of 2666Mhz ram for 300, now I can even get 16Gb of 3000Mhz ram for just RM3xx, It it ok ? usually high speed ram is just helps on gaming is it ? how on daily usage ? Browsing, Rendering, etc
Not all games show significant performance gain with high speed RAM, going from 2666MHz to 3000MHz will probably give you extra 5 FPS in average only, if you are gaming on 1080p60 and already have stable 60 FPS in game, then I don't think that 5 FPS will bring any changes to you.For browsing, you can hardly feel any difference. As for rendering, yes if you render a lot of high resolution videos/graphics as the memory is faster (I/O) to feed the CPU with the resources it requests.
Assuming you sold your current RAM at RM 250+/- and you will need to top up nearly RM 150+/- for 3000MHz, are you ok with it just for the extra 334MHz? If ok then you can go for it
