Is the PSU new unit or used unit?

Odin Pro is a 9 years old PSU and I don't think it is still under production anymore.

Please ensure the CPU cooler can fit in the case.

Yup not included of the VR headset. Just the rig itself. Can it support multiple VR headsets?

It is overkill if you play at native resolution (1080p) at 60Hz, but you can always use DSR (2x, 3x, 4x etc) to render the games at higher resolution for better graphics quality so it won't be a complete waste/overkill.
*
Confirm not overkill. For AAA titles, you want as much framerates as you can so the framerate dip doesn't hurt your gaming experience.

Note that even if it's overkill today, it won't be in the near future.

New game titles are beginning to take a toll on older cards even on Full HD when details are set towards the maximum.

Refer to titles like GTA V, The Division, Ashes of the Singularity and Hitman, among many other titles. Rise of Tomb Raider for example. Benchmarks on those games at high detail settings don't reach 3 digit mark.

Any good substitute for Seasonic Evo M12II as Etech ran out of stock. What about FSP Aurum 600W Plus Gold?

WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 209

Supporting 2 VR headsets could potentially bring up some performance issues in those heavy coordinate tracking related games, 1 VR headset per PC is more preferred.

Intel Core i7 6700K - RM 1426
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming - RM 699
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8GB x 2) DDR4 3200MHz RAM - RM 442
Palit GTX1080 8GB GDDR5X Jetstream - RM 2960
Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB SSD - RM 255
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 209
Superflower Leadex Gold 650W - RM 420
Corsair Hydro H100i V2 - RM 508
NZXT S340 - RM 330

Total: RM 7249 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

As for 8 - 10k build, it is pretty much the same, you can switch to GTX1070 SLI but VR doesn't work nicely with SLI currently (at least with all games) so sticking to a single GTX1080 is still a better choice, or you can SLI the GTX1080 in the future if needed (or completely swap to newer GPU like Pascal Titan X or GTX1080Ti). CPU can be upgraded to hexa core i7 6800K but it is not necessary at the moment unless you really keen to run multiple VR headsets on it which requires more CPU juice for motion tracking. Take note that VR headset requires tons of USB ports (at least 2 or 3 USB 3.0 ports are needed).

Sell your G3250 and HD5770 (mostly can sell for RM 250+/-), get a new i3 4160/4170 and GTX750Ti, add another 4GB RAM and 120GB SSD if possible.

Hello everyone. I'm planning to build new rig by mid August.

[Budget]
RM5K -RM8K (can top up aorund RM600-RM1K) smile.gif

[Purpose]
Mostly for gaming & some photo editing. Doesn't need OC

[Hardwares that will be re-use]
x2 Dell U2414H

[Monitor resolution]
Probably using dual monitor (x2 - 1920*1080p), multi tasking cause I love reading. But probably upgrade with Microboard B340VXC 34" Ultrawide monitor by Sept / Oct

[Games & softwares that use frequently]
playing Blade & Soul (CN & NA), World Of Warships, NFS, simulator - playing all of them with high/ ultra graphic preset. Often use Photoshop and RAW processing software

[Personal preferences]
Small form factor rig / Mini ATX. Doesn't like bulky rig

[Location]
Sarawak

Thank you.
