btw i combine with S2.1MK2 subwoofer + S2000 Speaker = Ultimat speaker `~~very nice sound + very nice bass ~~~can i just buy with s2.1mk2 woofer and S2000 speaker only ??~~

hi everyone, just went to singapore comex expo and went to edifier booth.
C1, C2, M33/4/500, M3310, M2300, E1/2/3100/ E3300/50 all MP were present.
incl the old school R401, DA5k and S2000V.

i don't buy any cause i told salesman that i want speaker that sounds better than my M3300 but not so hi price (2.1). he told me frankly speaking there isn't any except beyond 2.1 that is M3500, DA5k and S2kV.
wow S2kV beside DA5k,, no match already in song listening...
but DA5k bass is so loosen, gr8 for movie...

i wonder how S2K would sounds...
btw S2kV is 350SGD, is it worth buy?

We will launch another model which have better soound quality than M3300. Da5K bass should be very tight, i think their source got problem.

m3500? How come never heard of them before?

its the entry level 5.1 speaker for Edifier.the sub looks like the one taken from M3300,but its sounds entirely like another thing.to make it simple,R501MK2 beats it by miles

should be...
the 5.1 system is inserted to the multiplied stereo output i bet....
(when i take a peek to the wiring system behind)
no wonder the sounds
however the booth seems to be great...
seen some people bought some items (esp from MP area)
almost get myself an MP221 which cost SGD19

Mp221 at SGD19( x2.3 = RM43.7) is a great deal

Hi people, i am interested in getting the new S2.1M. Do i need a kickass sound card to drive it or just the on board will be sufficient?

on board would be more than enough since the speakers are so good.

At first i also like S2.1M design alot. But later found out the specs. and user comments didn't really meet my expectation. I've yet to audition it myself, but i'm now waiting for S2.1 Mediapro

If it's not as good as S2.1MK2 then i'll probably have to take MK2. Would rather buy something good than regretting later

I guess S2.1M is still bang for buck when compared to other brands.

Only when compared to other Edifier speakers, perhaps other Edifier models better.

It sound like they r clearing the stock cuase usual price of MP221 in SIng is SGD29.

btw dunno why MP220 is more expensive than MP221 though it cant use batteries... (SGD25)

how about the S2000V at 350SGD?

The MP221 have the adapter so the price higher.
