Wow the showcase till when? Can go on this saturday? Is S2.1 Mediapro in the showcase?

the showcase so nice one @@ but no time go tehre to see it T.T

agree. the M3300 reflx bass is how to say ah... like so flat..
i just bought a speaker that has similar bass characteristic to E3100 last PC fair in SG.
very satisfied with the speaker... just that this speaker no brand one..
cause when i go to edifier booth, nth impressive me except the S2kV.
but of course my wallet wont allow me to take that

crazily, the spaker that i bought is bandpass 5.25 inch. but yet it's abit heavier than my M3300 sub which has 6.5 inch driver... any idea? perhaps the woods is different? (better sound > more weight )

M3300 bass = powerful but "less weight"
E3100 bass = less powerful but got "more weight"

since M3300 and M2300 have same woofer, i only could suggest put the subwoofer near to your ear...
for my case, beside CPU tower is good already, compared to below table.

Can the M3400 controller be used on a M3300?

nope,Edifier's engineers designed the M3400 and M3300 in a different way that M3400's satelites and controller wont work with M3300.if its possible,i would pair M3300's sub with M3400's satelite and controller...

I just got M3300 from Comex(it show) in Singapore where I live.
Currently burn in it with my ipod via the aux in.

i just know... but for the satellites, can insert M3400 sats to M3300
but must buy a RCA jack... afaik

i also attend the Comex IT show and found that M3300 is the best among 100SGDish
i told the salesman and saleswoman that im looking for decent speaker round that price,
he told me tbh M3300 is the best currently, but i told him i got it already...

Are the S5.1 MKII available yet? I am currently using the S5.1 and like them very much. I am thinking of changing to the MKII when released, if I can get them where I am. Any opinions?

if i am not mistaken,M1310, M2300 and M3300 is the 1st gen wired controller speaker,while the M3400,E3300 and S2.1M and ETC are all the next gen wired controller from Edifier.that explains the change from the simple black controller with blue LED to the hockey pluck wired controller.the change of controller might be due to the quality issue faced by some users (me included ).This leads me to believe that...

1) Edifier is listening to our comments and they re-designed the controller ground up
2) Kudos to Inter-Asia too,for their effort to help troubled users by replacing the controller without hassle (for my case)

M3400's satelites to be connected to the sub is through the wires with 1 is the positive end and 1 is the negative end,while M3300's satelites use RCA type...this leads to the incompatibility of the both satelites.

sorry for writing in layman's term as im not familiar with wiring stuffs,maybe it can be done in someway to exchange the satelites,but surely i dont know how to...

both satelites got their own characteristics,just that M3300's a bit bright and M3400 feels more natural to me.it depends on one's ears

Thanks to both of you and others who had replied to my posts. I'll visit the showroom and compare them myself. Hope to be impressed by it.

Shhh...... dont put poison to other if not they will die......S2.1mkII bass is the best in multimedia speaker.....
I think we already Edifier win over logitech speaker

S5.1MKII still not yet available now ~~ S2.1MKII will available as fast in this year end ~~so sorry to keep you waiting the MKII

Wow out of a sudden there are few that who are so fond of M3300 or M3400 . Anyone knows if S2.1MKII will beat S2.1 Mediapro? What i've so far from this thread is that S2.1MKII the bass is boomy.. which i felt really bad though. Really hope they launch mediapro as soon as possible. Really can't wait for the reviews and get one myself

More Edit: one more thing... I'm a guy more towards clarity when compared with bass... Is the speaker good to me then? I cant go any Edifier showroom since there aren't any in Penang here

however, M3300 controller is differ from M1310.
M1310 controller input is integrated to the sub.
M3300 and M3400 controller are different in physique
but has same interface (serial-alike port)
and 4 same function : mute, volume, input and headphone.

however, tbh i don;t really know whether it's compatible although M3400 controller possibly inserted to M3300 slot (and it goes to E3300 too !)
nvm though, im satisfied with M3300 remote..
(though M3400 is stunning )
