me too. especially if they hear Edifier S2000 2.0 speaker costing 1500RM, they would not believe it at first.

Agree, under RM100, only M1310 is eligible to be the "best" from edifier.
M1350 even still using 4" while M1310 already use 5" sub.

hmm too bad i havnt try the new MKII. Hey people i hav look at the pic of S2.1 MK2 so many times, but i do not understand, (though i have look many times) :

What is the function of the circle on the left and on the right?
The one on the left look like a small sub, while the one on the right is like a new port type. Well maybe i was wrong, but is there anyone here bother to explain? i've read all the pages in Edifier fan V2 but no luck...smile.gif

thanks... at least i get an bright idea cause S2.1 MK2 do not use port which decrease bass quality (well you'll notice the difference on RM1K+ stuffs).

@besaid, you can check at new HERE
The left part of sub also looks similar, but the history of my browser is on another computer.

IMO, S2.1D is like abit better from S2.1M but
S2.1MK2 is lot better than S2.1D

bit confuse, is it:
~right speaker put in the left one no sound, or
~any speaker put in the right slot no sound?

if no1: means defect in right sattelite only (i.e. cable tampered)
no2: stereo cable defect, or panel inside subwoofer defect.

2nd pic, dunno, got S2000 decoder but the speaker are weird.
i yesterday saw a Z5500. i wonder how come the sub similar to that one.
but i believe passive radiator produce better sounds than Z5500 port...

keep on going edifier..... rclxms.gif we'll wait liao... icon_rolleyes.gif

@punish

M3300 is very sensitive... abit power distruption will create zzzz sounds.. however im using acbel psu with onboard its okay, no problem at all...

@kean

i'll still go for M3300. clarity is very important when it comes to the jazz or slow songs... M3400 intended for basshead like those who;re addicted to techno trance and dance...smile.gif

people opinion : bass = M3400, clarity M3300. price = almost same

hmm.. in my house, the record got M1310, E3100, M3300. so although some may not appear to be mine, i do test the sound.

I vote for M3300 as for clarity. you'll find many sharpness spoken by the satellites of M3300.... every people here know its the best in clarity in price range. however M3300 in some cases appear to be about 230.

M1310... not bad for its price. but if you do compare it to E3100 and M2300, sure no match, the price is only below 100...

E3100 advantage over M3300, M2300, M1310, M3310 and M3400 is that it has treble volume controller where all those Mseries have only vol and bass control. i've been in the same question with you last CNY but finally i manage to get myself a M3300. after a month of break-in, i sent it home and the sound is really2 good... (clarity esp.)

the best is you try it yourself. i remember last few weeks i was buying a M1310 for my friend. the good thing about the shop was i can try the speaker using my own MP3! well, i just plug my K800i in and listen. after a quick listening, i just carry it home and it sounds really good although i believe my X300 better (only 10RM differ).

good luck finding...smile.gif

hmm really? edifier must've been improved that logitech "take" the sattelite from edifier. however i see S2.1MK2 sub is almost the same with Z5500 one..

maybe they exchange each other... but i don;t know which logitech use M2300 satellites..
