join on aprs or echolink...

I usually do a short trip, so, probably you won't be able to tx/rx messages to me while I'm mobile and I don't use uiview.. join our mailing list at myaprs@yahoogroups.com. If you've any question on aprs, you could ask there.. most of the sifus are there too.

anaother station is coming to APRS... tracker kit received.. soon will assemble.. c u all on APRS...

The right time for northern hams to pickup APRS, southern hams already on the map .. and they've put few digipeaters all around Johor and Malacca.

wiraone my friend, your triton antenna mount = bonnet? Trying to find a nice place to mount antenna without scratching the new paint.

Haha.. got a Triton too? Nope .. I've this iron back bumper .. so, the antenna goes there.. you need to scratch the pain somehow, otherwise you won't get a good grounding unless if you run a grounding strip from the mount to some metal part .. I've got one mount on the bonnet which I don't use now .. it does left a mark on the paint when I took it off.. so, for now, it stays there doing nothing..

Oh .. my Triton has scratches all over the body .. don't care much already after the day I went for offroading .. hahaha..

there's a few that interested. need more exposure... btw.. there is 2 digipeater up n running already.. 1 in island and 1 in mainland... hopefully this stuff will attract more ham... n the apras map will be crowded hehehehe....

nice ride u got there.. i also like Hilux.. hehehe.. but wont get it in near future.. out of budget... hehehe

From what I see when I went up to Penang end of last year, you guys have igates and not digipeaters .. digipeater will repeat back the packet but igate will only update the aprs-is. We surely need few digipeaters there in Penang .. and a two-way igate too.
