Haha.. did they realised it? I went to one of the shopping complex (I think Sg Wang) and my antenna hitting the roof/tubes.. luckily it didn't broke any of them.. need to tilt it .. but then again, depending on what antenna you're using .. SG series from Diamond, most of them are tilt-able ..
Added on February 3, 2010, 10:50 amSince moving the antenna to my rear bumper, I've no problem getting into any parking at shopping complexes .. hehe.. This post has been edited by wiraone: Feb 3 2010, 10:50 AM |

I dont think so but the car behind me was laughing uncontrollably. At least she did helped me quickly kick all the broken glass from my truck bed then I change parking. Dont think any cctv caught that. Mine is the el cheapo MR77, now looking for the bonnet mount and a SG 1/4 wave.

MR77? Ermm.. how low are the parking lot at Sabah shopping complexes? I think MR77 is about 1.5'?? For MR77, the best place for it is surely top/middle of your roof ..

1.5ft should be about correct. Its currently mounted right in middle of the roof. Min clearance is 2.3m. Most are 2.1m over here. 31in tyres not helping too.

I guess that will be .. Diamond AZ504FX + trunk mount .. but since our back bit couldn't be opened .. the best I could see is to stick it to the rear glass .. using some sticky mount like this: + ![]() |

Interesting sticky mount there. Another option would be to screw a K600 on the bonnet with a SG7000. At least when I am going off road can mount a longer 5/8 for simplex. Good idea? Full power the antenna would be same level as my head
