mudah itu very subjective
kalau mudah bagi si A, belum tentu mudah bg si B
buy any of them, and read the manual.

SX20 if you intend to go HF one day. Very easy to use

SX200 more accurate but not that easy to use. Need to re-calibrate each time but once you get use to it. Ok also.

SX27 never use before.

Exactly, just like asking Nokia or Sony Eriksson.

Best swr would be your hand. Warm set means swr >1.5 ..... smoke coming out = >3.0

Crossband rig will only do on 2 different bands .. so, to answer your question .. I guess is NO. Why need to rent it, have you got an answer from local marts group in Penang? There might be few that have this.. what you need to do is:

1. Two or more crossband rigs .. all set to one VHF simplex frequency
2. The UHF frequencies for the crossband rigs should not be the same or interference might happen ..
3. HTs should be set to UHF frequencies, depending on which sector they are at .. so you might want to sector-ised .. upper hill on one UHF freq, the bottom of the hill on one freq. and those who're able to work on VHF work on the VHF freq.
