once the mall achieve a healthy occupancy in the coming 2 years, the occupancy in aurora mall will also go up naturally. shoplot in aurora facing the mall have pick up its occupancy in the past 2-3 months. the rest are bound to filled up eventually, its just a matter of time.

if one is to take into account the entire plot of land, the mall + aurora + signature shops, you are looking at a very sizeable retail component.

One thing good….they have mirrored the interior to pavilion KL. The concourse area with the long steps are impressive

I visited on Day-1 due to fomo.

My SO got so mad at me and gave me an earful, citing Covid-risk, lack of stores where one can eat, long queue outside Grandmama’s (the only FnB that was opened), nothing to shop since 80% stores is still under renovation etc.

In retaliation I got philosophical, I said the mall is a Scrodinger’s cat. If we hadn’t came we wouldn’t have known that nothing’s opened yet right? So it takes coming here to find out how sad the mall is right now, so don’t complain.

Thanks Pavilion Bukit Jalil, you contributed to a couple’s spat for your premature opening.

In real life, directors get the first bite of the cherry i.e prime units. If 'director's unit' is not prime mean is left over.
