Most apps do not need. Why do you need to have a bluetooth remote ?

Most airmouse requires a dongle to be plugged into the receiving device ( TV ). Question is where the receiving device has the right drivers for the dongle.

A7400F stock remote is Bluetooth type.

A7400F is an Andoid TV. Better user experience using Air mouse.

Air mouse are very terrible, and it is only needed by some seldom used apps such as a web browser.

Netflix and YouTube can play without airmouse.

And as I mentioned, you go to online store to buy an airmouse, you are not sure it is compatible with the TV. Have you gotten any specific airmouse to work on the TV ?

Up to you bro. To each his own. I have been using android boxes for a long time. So as an Android TV owner, it comes naturally for me to use Airmouse.

I thought all air mouse are just using default mouse driver built into the android Kernel? The movement translation are done by the accelerometer in the device itself, and not by the host OS

As far as I know air mouse will require a dongle to be plugged into the usb port of the device. So the dongle, I don't know if there are many types of VID or PID. I am not saying I know the answer. I am saying since the dongle is plugged externally via usb, naturally there is a driver needed.

I noticed most hypermarkets were displaying this China made brand quite some time. I know it's generally meant for the lower to middle class income people but the price of their product were pretty decent compared to the reputable brands in the market.  nod.gif

I have never tried using this brand before. I saw some attractive prices online such as below  unsure.gif

Hence what I said, the dongle are usually recognised as a mouse or a default input device (keyboard) or a combo of both, of which the drivers are already baked into the kernel

jz get my 65inch 7400F today...

after i check it.. notice got 2 light grey shadow inside the glass on both right n left side .. shld not dust... does anyone.. know this can settle in setting issue  or is factory defects?

it may not so clear over phone camera i take.. but if eye seeing is really weired grey shadow on the screen...if big white or clear color background.. it very obvious to notice!!

wtf ... with this type of screen issue it should have been REJECTED in the factory . nod.gif
just means do not trust this brand as far as quality product is concern . that screen is a sub standard one . used for cheap TV only.
I use to work in QC for a japanese TV manufacturer . We evaluate every component from supplier before pass to production.

And on the MY website the TV tech specs are not saying much for you to compare .
comes down to you dont know what you are buying really .

after reading the other issues mention in this thread i shake my head .
my recommendation . BUY at your own risk. Its your money thumbsup.gif

How do you capture the picture ? What it captured in total darkness ? If yes, there is probably nothing to claim, that's probably the best you could get from this TV. If you get that in normal lighting, then there is probably a case for warranty .... Just my 2c, don't blast me wink.gif

What panel is this? IPS or VA?
The 2nd and 3rd Picture is unacceptable.
Maybe fellow owners of this same model can also take picture and compare whether this is normal.

Having said that, care to share whats your picture setting values?

Lastly, did the TV comes with a layer of protective film? If so did you peeled it off? I'm asking based on the 2nd and 3rd pictures.
