I just wonder Mazda 3 HS has 7 speaker or 6 speaker?
I just went to test drive, SA told me 7 speakers as i questioned the mesh behind the HUD on the dashboard. But I saw from brochure, it is only 6 speaker. The SA bullshit me?

Can the M3 HS owner kindly confirm the truth? How is the sound quality of the M3 HS speaker?

I'm driving a HS. I think only comes with 6 speakers instead of 7.
Overall sound quality is good.

Correct me if I'm wrong. tongue.gif

just went to Honda showroom to test drive the all new civic today.
in term of power yes it is impressive because of turbo kicked in at 1.7K with full torque. somehow the things bothered me were the engine noise and CVT, it is way too loud when it rev up to very high RPM.

BUT in term of stability and handling M3 really doing very great! i would say mazda really put in alot of effort in this among the japanese C-Seg car. For those ever drove the Gen 9/8 civic then you will feel about the same in this new civic perhaps just better?

Although it just a test drive, the overview just based on my opinions.
The things i like in Civic
1. Turbo
2. Electronic brake system
3. Mirror Link infotainment
4. Spacious
5. wider vision

Things that i dislike
1. No fordable seat
2. loud engine noise and CVT
3. Suspension little bit soft, unstable when drive through some uneven roads with high speed

my opinion and no offence. let me know your opinion of these two cars. icon_rolleyes.gif

I have tested Civic turbo and Mazda 3, Civic turbo is powerful but very poor in engine sound insulation compared to Mazda 3. In short, the Mazda 3's overall driving experience is closer to continental car like BMW and Audi.
I always have the feeling that Honda car always spec up what people can see on paper or in the car, but cut a lot what you can't see. I hope I am wrong. unsure.gif

Because typical Honda fanboys only care about power and nothing else so they add in a turbo then change a bit on the design by adapting the same design concept from city then say they did a new design from ground up

Good thing of getting a Honda car is that there are a lot of aftermarket parts, unlike our skyactiv series which is a truly build from scratch is really limited in term of aftermarket parts, especially when It comes to high comp ratio engine, not everyone know how to properly tune or engine

If compare interior and exterior I guess we already have a winner in mind, but for typical Malaysians, having more power and bigger space win

Finally experienced SCBS this morning. Car in front of me looking for parking and all out of sudden a car out from parking and car in front sudden brake, me being the car behind following closely the SCBS kicked in with beep sound and brake itself. But I also press the brake too la and I felt the brake is already pre-pressed for me haha.
*
I've also experienced SCBS during Raya 1st day. It happened during slow moving traffic in Bukit Jalil. An Audi Q5 which just came out from the junction tried to cut queue from my left vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif Being an asshole at that time, I kept closing the gap between my M3 and the X5 in front of me. Then suddenly SCBS kicked in with beep sound and auto brake tongue.gif

if have budget, pls buy HS.

Mazda service center do not provide any after sales upgrade, example like my GS rear light upgrade to HS 1 due to wiring.

Do note that HS and GL rear light also different.

Is there a difference in getting a car from a Dealer or HQ branch?

The SA in the branch wouldn't give a display/faulty/test drive car right? I notice that Dealers are able to give a slight bit more discount on the purchase price.

if you get more discount then it might be the car is 2015 resgistered, which mean you are getting 1 year old car even though the car is out of the factory in december 2015

another possibility is display unit, usually SA will let you know if you are getting display unit and display unit will have even lower price because it should be selling as recond/2nd hand unit, there will be quite some mileage for test drive unit, i dont know how to check, i only know you can check the interior if it is scratched or anything damaged, and also there are a lot of plastic and tape inside for new car, show unit or test drive unit might not have those

even digital mileage also can be tempered, best is you go to reputable SA to make your purchase

yup, dont drive too fast when approach boom gate, when you drive at 30km/h, scbs will activate much earlier because your car is moving faster, best is you slowdown more when approaching boom gate then wait for the gate to open then only drive again
