QUOTE(heartsdales @ Nov 14 2016, 03:00 PM) Had checked with Gemfive, this is the feedback I got. Wow, this news really gave me a heart attack. Seems like we have to wait until mid of dec already. Please tell me that they are kidding. That they just want to make a surprise event for us pre-ordered customers. |

Still "tentatively" so it can be sooner or later. Much better to wait it out or look for other stores for stock.

QUOTE(alifhezrey93 @ Nov 14 2016, 10:25 AM) hi guys, anyone one here use PS4 Slim ver? I want to ask, refer to the picture, the red circle, why a quiet abit hot that area? I not play game, just update the firmware, that area already become hot. but the fan very quiet. [attachmentid=8022135] QUOTE(ps3 fanboy @ Nov 14 2016, 01:11 PM) Not sure what is so surprising? This has been an issue since the original phat PS3 days. There is A LOT of trapped heat at the bottom of the PS4 - and this applies to ALL PS4 revisions, original, slim and Pro. Buy a pack of these: ![]() Make a stack of them (2 or 3), stick them under your PS4 to elevate it off the surface of your table/desk/wherever. I've done this since day 1 back to the PS3 days, never once did any of my consoles (and I've got 2 of each PS3s and PS4s, bringing a total of 4) overheat, go into berserk fan drive mode, or red light itself. QUOTE(mingzm @ Nov 14 2016, 12:22 PM) This is where it gets confusing. As of this year, Seagate released its "Firecuda" branding which is suppose to take over the Barracuda branding for SSHDs. LX refers to drives with 32GB NAND. LM refers to drives with 8GB NAND but with self-encryption feature(s). There still exists plenty of older "LM" drives under the Barracuda branding, of which are also plain 5400rpm HDDs. But going forward, all SSHDs from Seagate change to the Firecuda branding. Can't believe it took them 5 years to learn what "series separation" is. This post has been edited by SSJBen: Nov 14 2016, 03:46 PM |

Yep, I did something similar for my PS3, I put a box with holes on it to create a space for the heat. Anyway, where can I get that black circle thingy? There is A LOT of trapped heat at the bottom of the PS4 - and this applies to ALL PS4 revisions, original, slim and Pro. As a bonus, there will also be less vibration noise if you happen to be using your PS4's blu-ray drive.

Want to ask, did anyone here pre-order Dishonored 2? If so, did you get Dishonored 1 dlc?

Hi folks,
Anyone claimed warranty within one week of purchase of the PS4 Slim? How should i go about it if I want a one to one replacement? Anyone got any experience or tips to share? My ps4 really cannot go despite rebuilding database and doing full initialization |
