100Mbps nobody has got their activated yet, so have to wait.
Read few pages back, it seems TM will replace router for 100Mbps. Not sure if I read it correctly.

Well, that's good, still they can always use "fair usage policy" to throttle down the max speed.
Even without this dirty trick, hardware and server's performance also play important role.

At least I don't see others complaining about it. Most of us get our full 30/50Mbps.

Just try to download 24/7 and see what happens. This is how I get throttled doh.gif
And they don't throttle all, just the server that did the most transactions. Like using Mega with download manager you can get max speed all the time and when throttle kicks in, you consider lucky if you still can get 1/6 of your package.

I use IDM and I could get 4.5MBps with my 30Mbps package.
Consistently 4MBps and above.

I guess it depends on area and luck too. Mine so far no probs at sustained 30mbps download. However I don't download 24/7, the longest session probably around 14hrs.

Would be interesting to see how the new routers fare. A few here have been given replacement DIR-850L routers. This one is quite good. Someone in the Mikrotik thread tested it on Time Fibre up to 430mbps on default config. UniFi performance should be a bit slower due to vlan but enough for Pro100.

For BTUs, i believe those with 100mbit port BTUs and upgrading to Pro100 will be given a new BTU with gb ports.

Not normal, UniFi dynamic IPs last for days/weeks. Maybe your router is disconnecting for a reason, check the logs.

My BTU is already GB ports since day 1. As for router I use DrayTek Vigor2130n, should be more than enough for Pro 100 biggrin.gif

the longest & largest file I ever download non-stop was 6-episodes Star Wars Bluray, 220GB for almost 24hours. No throttled at that time.

Check if your DSL light keeps going off and reconnecting (blinking) before reconnected (stable) every few hours.

Chances are your VDSL2 modem (BTU) is spoilt and you need call 100 for free replacement.

UniFi 30 / 50 / 100 = RM 169 / RM 219 / RM 299
+ Aneka = RM30
+ Ruby = RM40
+ Varnam = RM30
+ Jumbo = RM60
+ Voice Pack STD = RM 20
+ Voice Pack STD (Free) = RM 0 worth RM 20
-Special Discounts = RM10 or RM20 or RM30

this is their base price and how they play around with it.

Prior to UniFi 100

UniFi 30 / 50= RM 169 / RM 219
+ Aneka = RM30
+ Ruby = RM40
+ Varnam = RM30
+ Jumbo = RM60
-Special Discounts = RM 20
*1.06 = GST Included

Post UniFi 100

UniFi 30 / 50= RM 169 / RM 219
+ Aneka = RM30
+ Ruby = RM40
+ Varnam = RM30
+ Jumbo = RM60
+ Voice Pack STD (Free) = RM 0 worth RM 20
-Special Discounts = RM 10 only for Ruby
*1.06 = GST Included

UniFi 100 = RM 299
+ Aneka = RM30
+ Ruby = RM40
+ Varnam = RM30
+ Jumbo = RM60
+ Voice Pack STD (Free) = RM 0 worth RM 20
-Special Discounts = RM 30
*1.06 = GST Included

so it is not RM50 jump from UniFi 50 to UniFi 100 . . . devil.gif

I also applied on the 1st April and did not receive any calls.

So I gave them a call just now and the lady who spoke to me says I have to wait 7 days.
The funny thing is, she said I might not need to change my equipment depending on how "old" my current equipment is. As usual, confusion seems to be theme in TM. biggrin.gif

I am itchy to try the 100Mbps package but I can't think of want to do with that speed.
Now using VIP 10 and having no problem with that speed.

I'm an existing 50Mbps user with a Mikrotik router (Wifi disabled) and using Apple Extreme (as Access Point).
Whatever it is, lets see when they'll come over. Would very much prefer if they just upgrade the speed without coming over. Would hate to take leave to do these things.

Yup, exactly the same thing with me. Wanted to apply early for 100 as upgrade to 50 took many months of waiting due to apparently port full.

Only factor would be the modem as I use my own router anyway.
