Cable 'patah' at the port infornt my house.. they change with new cable then ok edy.. 15min done.. I wait for 2 days demmm

My neighbour got same problem but not patah. It seems when the techs came to fix it, they found her fibre cable disconnected and replaced by another fibre for another house. So they suspect due to miscommunication that the contractor tercabut her fibre cable. Like that also can. rclxub.gif

You can connect up to 5 devices and stream up to 2 at the same time, as long as their operating systems are supported by iflix.

If you want to register a 6th device, tough luck... you can't. Joking! (Well, actually we're not) You need to remove 1 device that is registered to make way for the new one you intend to connect.

Read more at https://www.iflix.com/frequentlyasked.html#...pPqHoUc7jgmR.99

read somewhere else it can take up to 30 days for a deregistered device to be replace by another one.

Is vip5 still available?? can't find any links for it on their website, but googling it yields an older TM page on vip 5 at ~RM160 a month.

Also, if I don't want hypptv can I opt out of it?

Thanks

What about those who already have astro? no point setting up hypptv then. Or can I tell them to only set up the phone line and cables, and just ignore hypptv?

So you mean everything works except HyppTV?

In that case, you probably plugged your HyppTV port to the wrong port. It needs to be on LAN4 if you did not change the default settings.

I'm using Mikrotik RB2011UAS-2HnD. Very good router. Cheaper version of it would be the RB951Ui-2HnD, about RM300.

Works fine with HyppTV too.

My neighbour uses RT-N12-D1, not the HP version. No complaints from them so far. But our area not many other wifi routers. Sometimes disconnections are caused by congestion. Only thing you can do is try to find a cleaner channel.

So my suggestion is to determine the cause before spending money on a new router.
*
Does placing router beside the TV contribute to the problem? I read somewhere it does.
I detected 3 (including myself) wifi signals only in my neighborhood.

When i use the TM router (Dlink DIR-615), the connection is not that stable, sometimes slow, sometimes fast.
While Asus' router keeps on disconnecting, then re-connects. icon_question.gif

I saw a reset button on the "white" box (forgot the exact name) before the router, would resetting it solve the problem?

I surveyed for routers, and found out Asus routers is one of the best.

I guess something is wrong at TM side for this case. hmm.gif

Try reboot and using the old router as well.
