Over the LAN cable and not wireless you should get at least 80% of advertised speed

then something must be incorrect about the router.

was it working well before? when was firmware last updated, reboot, reset, etc.?

check asus thread, can get help there.

i just updated to latest firmware 9443, no problem.
it is rm169 + gst.

but no free calls - you pay if u call with phone, except toll free ones, of course.

After I get the router,I reset and upgrade the firmware on last week.then I set it up,first of all,all connection are very slow except hypptv, then I set wireless channel, after that when I open hypptv, hypptv work well and very smooth but the others device connect very slow although I change wireless channel...

Hi guys,

is there a way to terminate my old unifi 10mb account and re-sub for 30mb for new equipment?

The equipment already 5years old....
Besides, I want to route the fiber termination point to 2nd floor.

Apply for a new 30mbps package, then terminate 10mbps after installation completed or else later the port "gone" icon_idea.gif

Unless the unit u bought is a lemon where u need to take it back for replacement or warranty, it will work.

That router alto not too expensive is good for normal home use. I used it for >1 yr.

Wifi 50ft, 8 devices, many terabytes.

Unifi30 with this router can deliver 4K uhd video and dd5.1 audio with Netflix flawlessly.

Just IPv4, 2.4ghz, no special settings.

Any further issues, ask at asus thread. Let's keep this thread to Unifi. wink.gif

Do not terminate as u may not get a port again.

Better go visit yr TM point, talk to them.

Modem no worry, it is warrantied as long as u use unifi.

Router, better buy yr own after upgrade to get better performance.

Hypptv box, ask for it. Alto not covered, my dealer said if I really need new one, he can get one for me as some customers don't want it.

Lay new cable, TM point can arrange but probably have to pay, negotiate, as free installation only for first time customer.

my complaint on the ADV50 upload speed got shot down by TM, stating that upload speed remains as per website sad.gif guess i'll have to wait until it gets upgraded..

Besides that, anyone notices throttling on fb/insta/youtube recently during the evening hours? feels sluggish compared to a VIP20 that I tested side by side.. unsure.gif

It is fine unless your TV produce 2.4Ghz which will interfere with the Wireless connection.

What is your signal strength when that happen?
*
The disconnection happened on the router itself. I had full strength.
No matter how many times i reboot, still the same.

I'm using an extender too, TP-Link.

Does placing router beside the TV contribute to the problem? I read somewhere it does.
I detected 3 (including myself) wifi signals only in my neighborhood.
...

TV won't have much interference unless your TV got wifi built-in.

The TV itself will block wifi signals. Last time my wifey hide the router behind the TV and that degraded the signal quite a bit.
