How many percent. If 2 or less than 2. I would say its worth.

Even if less than 2, wouldn't it make more sense to buy kenanga growth fund or east spring investment small cap since they significantly outperform ASG all the time?

Yes. Like I said calculations showed is still safe for another 3 years (starting this year)

These funds will be defended and highly sensitive. Previous history shows us this. If bumis can treat it as a SA, I can treat it as a FD. One does not really need FD when we have stuff like ASX FP.

If something happen to amanah saham, klse will be in big trouble. rclxm9.gif

Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) a wholly owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) for the first time to contribute RM50 for all 492 students of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Batu Tujuh conjunction with Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM).

SK Batu Tujuh which have Orang Asli students received contributions of RM50 each as an initial investment to open an Amanah Saham Bumiputera 2 (ASB 2) account to spur interest in saving among the children.

PNB chairman Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid said the Orang Asli community is not marginalized but can invest in a unit trust scheme as Bumiputra.

"This contribution is an initial awareness to students about the importance of investment and prevent them from being caught up with investment schemes that are not valid.

One question on the annual ASNB seminar + makan for customers.

Is it in BM only?

Coming in May in my town.

It depends on the audience. In big towns, usually it would be in English. In smaller towns, mixture of English and Malay. In rural areas, more like 100% Malay.

Well.... actually. Outperform yes. But can't really say asg is a weak fund. Total return isn't that bad just lower that others. Even is lower, just merely -2.5 compared to others which can up to -20... if and only if you see the total return as well as the peak price, one can make +18... even mine up to +15.. just really wrong timing for me last time and only able to cut off at +3.5 during the market turbulence. And if not mistaken, asg isn't following forward pricing. You can fully depend on klci to know the price for tomorrow. I don't know la but this helping when buying and selling. Fyi, I have KGF ASG and ESISCF too.

Haha. Usually these events are only for HNW customers. And yeah we do give some souvenirs to those who attend. But most of the time not many are interested to join, especially in small towns. Hence we often invite 10 times the capacity. Say, we are planning for 100, we'll invite 1000. So the extra comes from non-HNW customers.

In places like KL, JB or Penang. Events are often full house. Those in this forum might be very interested to join, but many others couldn't care less. Hahaha

Often full house. Not all the time. Sometimes the date might not be convenient, etc.
