I asked this question specifically in the room - they answered firmly, ONLY Amanah they will transfer the units. They will open the account if the beneficiary has no account.

For other wills, they will sell the units and give the beneficiary in cash.

The presenter even explained to those bumi audiences about why I asked this question - for the reason of non bumi are not easy to buy the units. Some beneficiaries like to continue keeping the units. Amanah is the best way of ensuring their units are not sold.

There might be some confusion and or misunderstanding. ASNB's pengisytiharan amanah (PA) does pay the beneficiary in terms of units and not merely cash. Cash is only paid out if the receiver is not eligible to open an account with ASNB because you can "gift" your units to foreigners; in fact you can gift your units to anyone you like 

At least this was the understanding I got when I signed up for the service 

Newbie in ASM. From Oct 2015 - Jan 2016, managed to open ASM account; and topup 150K into ASM with lesser than 10 attempts. Feel like ASM tak laku. 

takla...MayBank staff and rm know me very well. they seldom approach me their own in house product. perhaps i pakai seluar pendek and slipers when i go there. hahha...

Usually i will show my sour face and told me straightly do not waste my time..just proceed what I want. Anyway the Maybank staff there still very nice to me. 

I think those who kena reject ASM maybe kena troll big time. Because so far ASM top up all ok. No rejection if 5k 5k like that.

This reminds me a Honda salesman told me he had a police customer who paid his new Honda in cash notes. It was a huge effort for the outlet to count the money because they do not have money counting machine like bank.

because everyday there will be ppl withdraw for asw2020 since economy not quite good.. but for me putting 500k to sleep in is a high risk already.

imo i will go for 500k max only.

FYI asw2020 dont have limit 1.. i saw some of my friends so greedy.. put millions inside.
