Tomorrow quest: 11am - 7pm, 16 trips for RM100. Anybody has it? Seems like achievable.

Just now, evening time I checked my apps that the RM100 extra topup from 11AM to 7PM promo is available for me.
However, around 12AM+ I checked again my apps, that promo has DISSAPPEARED! Zzz

Hi just wanted to ask, my uber account just activated. I going to start driving this weekend. My question is do i have to charge rider separately if we passed any tolls in klang valley? Or its already included in the trip fare?

I suggest you go to the PSC and attend a training session.

Nowadays they don't make you sit through training, and you jump into it blindly, and sure to cause you problems which will affect your ratings.

And no, you don't need to collect toll. It's calculated in the system and included in the fare. But check on it once in a while to make sure you get reimbursed correctly.

No that easy as it seems.....I kept end up in KL city Centre. Goodness me!

I'm being lucky today... started 11am sharp and first ping came in 11:02am... managed to complete the 16 trips today. the 16th ping request came in at 6:22pm and the 5km trip took 26mins. Earning for 16 trips was merely RM150 without quest.
Straight went offline after that. Damn tiring.....
Actually I completed 12 trips around 4pm and the last 4 pings took quite a long time to come in. Rounding for 30mins before the 13th ping came in.... can you believe it, even it was in sunway area?

i find that this whole week the surge was not so red and not so frequent and the boost was lower too. Too many drivers and too less people request rides? I was at mid valley around noon today and instead of getting a request at mid valley, i got a ping to pick up rider at menara tm.

Ublur quest target is never easy to hit.

true. normally if they gave me 2 tiers quest, i could only hit first tier...sometimes when they reduced to single tier, i would just not bother to hit at all.

Want to share my Uber ride just now

Was from Jln Gombak go Subang airport , I first tried Grab but no driver accepting me order.

Switch to Uber, within minute got my ride.

The route involved 2 tolls which cost RM5.10 as it is my everyday route to work.

When I check fare breakdown in receipt, it show RM4.40 in surcharge toll line... Are these undercharge to rider and driver is sort of subsidiaries my ride ???

Just hope the nice Uber driver just now did his checking and complains to Uber !

Sometimes the app like that. Hence depends on driver, if they raise the issue Uber will reimburse. If driver don't know then too bad.

In penang, I felt grab is better...for uber, driver do not know where you go, so after the driver accepting your ride, he will call you and ask where is ur destination. If he doesn't want to go, he will ask you to cancel. I felt it is waste of time as rider need to rebook again and wait for another driver. For grab, more chances for driver which accept ur ride will bring you to the destination as they will know the destination beforehand.

Been taking Uber since I touchdown Penang this morning...

Surprisingly Grab is double the fare of Uber !
So far Uber drivers never call n ask where I'm going

Tougher still for part-timers.
If Uber wants to encourage part-timers to drive, it needs to have something for them.

don't have to worry... the navi will bring you to the pick up and drop off location. after driving a while you will be familiar with the frequent places that the riders go. I don't think all the drivers know all the places.

P.S. I pay directly to you so 100% fare, no 20%/25% commission to Uber/Grab.

Any training for newbie by Uber ? Where is the office too ?
