i've been driving for uber for nearly a month already and about 130 trips, my quest is getting lower and lower. the recent one is just RM45 for 27 trips.

i've 2 tiers quests but i can only complete tier 1
are quests incentive different for each driver?

i received many pings which the pick up location is far away... sometimes 4,5 and once more than 6km away. is it normal? most of the time the drop off location was just 1+, 2+, 3+ and 4+ km away. There was 1 time i need to pass through toll to pick up rider.

I don't really wait or camp at hot stop. I would just drive off if the ping didn't come in after maybe 3-5 mins even though it was at publika or sri hartamas area. should i stay longer to wait for the ping?


Of course it gets lesser and lesser everytime you managed to hit.
Mine was rm80 for 27 trips last week which I completed in 1 day.
So this week kena rm55 for 27 trips
You cannot be driving into hotspot everytime you send someone out of it right ?
You only drive back into hotspot when you are sent into some "village" from previous trip.
This is Uber, there is always enough ping.

I used 3 days to complete the 27 trips yesterday. Now the new quest just came in -24 trips for RM130... so tempting if it's not over the weekends. I don't drive on weekend May I know how many hours you used to complete the 27 trips in one day and mostly in which area? If possible I would try to complete the 24 trips today. Possible?

this morning just before dropping off a riders at ikea, a back to back ping came in to pick up rider at bandar sri damansara. I accepted the request then only realised i need to pass through a toll and 9km away to pick up the rider. so I cancelled it. Then another ping came in to pick up at desa park city, again I cancelled it. Luckily I cancelled it as both were just going 1U only.

2 days ago i was being sucked in further to somewhere near banting and had empty car back home.

I was dropping a rider at parkland and just before setting my destination to subang, another ping came in and sent me to 6 km away to taman perwira and the drop off place was further to some ulu place at carey island. No hope of getting a rider back to town area so i just set it off and drove back to subang by skve and paid few $$ for the toll

Yesterday 5 ladies squeezed in my uberx car. i understand that the maximum riders should be 4 pax but i still continue with the ride as I was afraid my rating will kena kaw kaw if the some of them continue with me and some call for other car. the trip was 1.5km only though. what whould you do if it happens to you?

i picked up a rider at mutiara damsnsara and sent to jalan cendana, kampung baru. the traffic was terrible and the original estimation time from 29mins for 14.5km ride ended 60 mins. the fare after uber fee was just rm12.30. i wrote to uber to ask why the extra time was not added to the fare and their reply was "it was upfront fare". what is up front fare? do we know it when we are accepting the request ping? it happened once before also like 30km rides but the fare was just rm19.

a rider set a destination and then requested to me to wait for her to pick up something and then send her back to original pick up place. but just b4 reaching the destination, a back to back ping came in. so i just have to reject her. I would like to know if sending her back to her original pick up place, will the fare increase accordingly or still the same?

if that is the case we should always reject riders if they want us to send them back to the original pick up place. or is there any another solution if the riders ask for it?

let say if the original fare from A to B is RM10, and if the rider requested to send back to the original pick up location (A to B to A) will the fare be ~RM20? does the rider need to change the destination setting when reach B?

do i need to go offline just b4 reaching point B or else there maybe request ping come in?

it happened to me 3 weeks ago, the app crashed. i took a rider at subang jaya and sending her back to one utama. didn't realize it crashed until a new ping came in to pick up a rider in sunway. i confused and accepted the ping and then the navigation showing the new route to pick up the rider in sunway. but i continued with the original destination to one utama. the second rider cancelled the request after a few mins, maybe seeing me heading the wrong direction.
I told the rider i had to go offline as something wrong with the app as her destination was no longer showing in the navi. she checked her phone and the trip was already cancelled as well. she told me her credit card transaction for the fare- RM17+ already gone through. Luckily she gave me the detail and said she would lodged a report with uber as well. the trip didn't show on my trip history nor her trip history on her phone as well.
i wrote to uber to complain. it took few days and numerous exchange of messages before they found the trip record. the record show the trip was cancelled just after 100 m from the pick up point and paying me RM1+ for the trip. i gave them all the details and the rider's phone number and asked them to call her to verify. after a few days the trip showed on my dashboard and the fare was just RM13 before uber's fee. Luckily the rider told me the exact fare amount charged on her credit card and i wonder where had the RM4+ gone to. I didn't want to drag the issue further and just accepted whatever fare credited to me.

after updating the apps today, it no longer shows the cancelled trips on the dashboard anymore nor the quests on home page

now the quest for today, tomorrow and friday > from 16:00-20:00 >12 trips for RM85 and 8 trips for RM35. possible? and where?

could it be the doctor who called for the ride for his security guard? I do request rides like this for my mom as well.

sometime both quest and surge/boosts show on my homepage but sometime not. i guess the new app is not stable.
