Hey guys, planning to change my old LED Sony tv(2011 bravia models) for the upcoming PS5. Personally I do a lot of gaming and netflix while my family watch astro most of the time. I've found an attempting deal for 55B9@Rm5499(+10%cashback voucher). However, I've noticed that some pro in this thread mentioned that B9 need a lot of calibration works which I don't think I'll put effort on it XD. So my question is will you guys take this deal or wait the price of C9 drop a little more? Besides, does anyone noticed why there're so much lesser C9 deal found online lately?

Because C9 soon no more release, it is replace by CX.

CX pricing in Malaysia

55 - 10999
65 - 16999
77 - 31999

GX
65 - 19999

So basically for the price of the 55cx now, you can get a 65 cx for cheaper...lol.

I feel like this years pricing is even more ridiculous than previous years...I mean 65cx is 2.5k USD. That is almost 7 times more in Malaysia!!!!

Im not sure what the ratio was last year when c9 just launched as compared to US MSRP though.

When you people buy expensive TVs, where do you people buy the extended warranty from? I notice those by SenQ are really expensive.

Better buy the extended warranty. Like my friend buy the first 4k lg oled which no Hdr at 2016, last years 2019 his oled suddenly lost oled Backlight become very dark. But insurance give him back some money to buy one new Panasonic GZ1000 oled . Now he is very happy, He got free upgrade TV which got HDR 10 plus & dobly vision.

I never care of extended warranty for anything, it is basically waste of money.

Think back how many product you buy with extended warranty benefits of it.

sad truth. local distributor likes to treat AV products like it's a luxury niche. bangwall.gif

Just a small update on my LG C9 Setting.

I had change the De-Judder under TruMotion to 4 now instead of previous 2.

I don't find any soup artifact or any image error issue. 4 is the max can set as once go for 5, artifact start appearing and look fake.

So now my TruMotion setting is as below and it run perfectly fine and smooth. smile.gif

TruMotion: User
- De-Judder: 4
- De-Blur: 10

If you got plenty 4K HDR title or want to start taste and enjoy 4K HDR, then go ahead now.
For the moment I already have 540 4K HDR titles and frank speak 4K HDR is another level of viewing pleasure. biggrin.gif

Don't judge 4K HDR title from Netflix, Netflix 4K HDR title most didn't give wow effect.
Judge from 4K HDR title release by Studio in Physical Format 4K UHD Blu-ray or at least stream format from Apple iTunes.

Else I think you can wait until your Plasma kaput. tongue.gif

Every year similar time LG will do promotion of OLED TV when new model is released.

Yes I'm seriously contemplating the 65cx from desa right now in shopee.
The 10%cashback is some kind of discount for your next purchase in shopee right? Or do they really give back 10% in the form of cash?
