If you want a no hassle, no worry kind of display - the Sony x930e is obviously the better choice. The equivalent model here is the x930e or more specifically modeled the x9300e here.

But then you will have to be willing to put up with the shortcomings of LCD technologies. Meaning no infinite blacks, mediocre viewing angles, haloing/clouding, uneven panel uniformity and just passable motion clarity. You're also most definitely paying more for the x930e than the C7 as Sony for whatever dumb reason doesn't want to lower the SRP of this model significantly. Basically you're paying more for inferior technology, eventhough its hassle free.

I have both TVs and I use them for different usages. A 65" C7 for movies only and the 55" x930e for games only. I understand that it sounds stupid to have 2 TVs for 2 different usages, but if you ask me which I would live with if I MUST only choose one - I'd definitely say the C7.

Samsung and their bullshit QLEDs can go eat out of their own anuses - at least for the 2017 models. They are promising FALD for their QLED this year's models, so we'll have to wait and see how that turns out.
Permanent burn-in no. LG warranty here does not cover.

IR will occur, there's no 2 ways about this. But thus far I have not encountered any permanent burn-in after owning my C7 for 7 months+.
*
Very sad, Malaysia Sony did not bring 65" x930e & 900E to Malaysia. Even the latest 2018 model FALD LED x900F confirmed only got 55" & 85" in Malaysia. I am heavy Ps4 Gamer, lost my hope to get 65" UHD premium certified led tv in 2018.

65" is nice but i doesn't justify for me to top up 70-80% on 55" price as my sofa is 2.3m away from my tv.

no budget restriction & big living room should go for bigger than 55"

cheers for LG oled

my sofa is 3.3m away from TV, 55" inch is too small. I have to wait 65 inch to drop price .

Just got a 65'' C8 biggrin.gif

Anyone knows if anime industry uses the D65 color standard? I have a Your Name 4k HDR blu-ray and I'd like to watch it on the settings that present the colors accurately as intended by the creators. Would Technicolor Expert be the best mode to watch it?

What picture modes are you guys using to watch SDR and HDR anime?
*
congratulations. May I know what price do you paid? Where to buy your tv. All the movie should be use D65 color standard. Technicolor mode is good choice for both SDR & HDR movie.

So glad they finally split Smooth Gradation and Noise Reduction out of MPEG Noise Reduction.

Also, fairly impressed at the internal pattern generator the 9 series offers. It won't kill the professional manual calibrator's business, but the cost of entry for home calibrators is now lower than ever. Love that LG is really pushing this spectrum to more users.
*
That is good news, many video enthusiast got calman software & Colorimeter , But don't have most expensive pattern generator.

I did a very deep review on the Q90r.

it has blooming effects when compared to Q9FN and C8.

save your money on this.
*
So what tv do you take? Q9fn? 11k plus is very good price for q90r, if this price, i will take it, because i only see tv in bright room. Where do you saw the q90r for review?

Just want to check with c9 users. Do you get yellow tint on pure white using warm2 temp?

Is the yellow tint overblown?

B9 warm2 temp seems way off. The yellow is unbearable compare to my old b6. So would like to know how it is on c9.

I'm asking on pre calibration level.

What's the best price now for the 65" C9? And how low can one expect?

The GZ1000 seems to be slightly cheaper than C9 and it comes with sound bar.
*
GZ1000 is good oled TV. My friend got one. Ask the professional tv calibrator to do calibration. Using the Spectroradiometer to check the tv, Out of box before calibration result is very good , after calibration even better. Because Panasonic the calibration menu open more adjustment like gamma adjustment , more point white balance control, the calibrator easy to get better calibration result . some more, if you like to enjoy 4k uhd bluray disc. This TV also play Hdr10 Plus & dolby vison , 2 Big Hdr format are supported . We use " Alita battle Angel" movie compare this 2 format after calibration. Surprisingly, we prefer the Hdr 10 plus more than dolby vison . So extra one more supported format is a bonus.

I think these GZ1000 comes with it's own sound bar.

That one got sound bar is 2018 model FZ1000 which no dolby vison support. 2019 GZ1000 tv no soundbar only got normal tv speaker.
