Yes, im existing One card holder, yet the tele-marketing girl who called me requested me to submit IC and signed form.

hmmmm.... btw, last week, its so hard to get through for a CS to entertain my call... waiting time above 5 mins and give up!

That's normal. Though you may select the Report stolen card option to get to CS quicker.

too bad that my statement date is 13th, which is before the 3-5 working day Sony promised. Which mean my statement amount will including the RM500.

If can get by Apr 30, then will have no complication + don't need to pay that RM500

is it true that UOB charges 3% on top of foreign exchange rate? cus i bought something via paypal for 244 pounds (exchange rate was about 5.56 at that time). but i got charged about 1397 which is 5.56 + 3%

Is it paypal or the merchant topup the price ? 3% is quite standard as in taobao(alipay) amount also need to +3% for credit card.. not uob specifically.

not paypal cus i paid in foreign currency instead of convert to RM on paypal. i know there is some visa charge 1%, the rest is conversion fee by uob?

As far as I know/have, VI, VOX and One platinum. Believe other cards too, need others who have that to confirm

is't confirm can only collect uob credit card at their branch? cannot request post to home or office address?
the uob agent who called and verified my application told me so...
this is troublesome...all my other cc: maybank,citibank,cimb,hlb no such issue, they posted to home

i applied vox card thru uob website, agent contacted me thru email and submitted all docs thru email.

Yes, they only post to branch. Same to HLB.

Anyone knows if VOX can get rebate of 5% for online if pay DBKL assessment using UOBpayonline? Search the topic and look in the 1st post but couldnt find any answers.
